I have met 7 different men with the name, "Robert Carl Jones", mostly in the Southwestern US, but I knew one guy with this name who married a neighbor of mine back East.
Most people believe Smith and Jones are the most common surnames. However, Williams may be the most common American surname. Your opinion?

I went to school with 3 Jennifer Martinez and 2 Jessica Martinez. I live on the east coast. Yes I think Williams is a very common surname also.
