The bible specifically notes that formerly practicing homosexuals had become Christians in the first century (CE). If anything, the Christian Scriptures tend to recommend chaste ("asexual") singleness, and the Scriptures certainly do not require (or encourage) former homosexuals to begin practicing or professing heterosexuality.
(1 Corinthians 6:9-11) Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, ...nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, ...will inherit God’s kingdom. And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean, but you have been sanctified, but you have been declared righteous
(Matthew 19:10-12) The disciples said to [Jesus]: “If such is the situation of a man with his wife, it is not advisable to marry.” He said to them: “Not all men make room for the saying, but only those who have the gift. ...there are eunuchs [that is, chaste single persons] that have made themselves eunuchs on account of the kingdom of the heavens. Let him that can make room for it make room for it.”
A new Christian who once felt defined by his sexual inclinations now becomes defined by his intention to serve God and Christ. There is no need to define himself by sexuality again (by 'becoming heterosexual' for example), but he does need to maintain chastity in deed, speech, and thought. While 'thoughts' are between a person and his Creator, the Christian congregation has a responsibility to protect the congregation from ungodly deeds and speech.
Jehovah's Witnesses are not prudes, and well-understand that sexual desire is inherent in being human. Interestingly, Jesus words at Matthew 5:28 would have applied to any combination of genders.
(Matthew 5:28) Everyone that keeps on looking at a woman so as to have a passion for her has already committed adultery with her in [the] heart.
As Jesus implied, a person does well to limit his visual temptations, and to resolve not to fantasize about improper behavior. Further, while Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe the bible to teach that masturbation is a serious sin, they do believe that self-stimulation goes contrary to the best interests of a person hoping to remain chaste.
(Colossians 3:5) Deaden, therefore, your body members that are upon the earth as respects fornication, uncleanness, sexual appetite
Similarly, it may be wise to avoid association with those who insist on discussing topics related to sex and sexuality. Of course, this includes association via suggestive programs on television, films, books, magazines, and the internet.
(Ephesians 5:3) Let fornication and uncleanness of every sort or greediness not even be mentioned among you, just as it befits holy people
(1 Corinthians 15:33-34) Bad associations spoil useful habits. Wake up to soberness in a righteous way
Never forget that Jehovah God is interested in the well-being of his servants. Whether a Christian feels inclined toward heterosexual fornication or homosexual fornication, he can expect that God and Christ will give him the strength to overcome these sinful tendencies.
(Psalm 51:10) Create in me even a pure heart, O God, And put within me a new spirit, a steadfast one.

He/she can be accepted but he/she needs to maintain being chaste. I don't think someone who's same sex oriented can be turned straight, but prayer will help. They just need to keep from practicing homosexuality and keep from thinking any of those thoughts off their mind. By them maintaining their restrictions Jehovah will be pleased because they have tried hard from resisting temptation. Jehovah understands that we are human and we have strong sexual desires for he is the one who gave us this as a gift so we can enjoy it with our partner in marriage. But this was only intended for straight marriages. Since now we are imperfect many sinful ideas have crossed people's minds, but we need to be strong so we can resist those urges.

No and No.
Anyone who rejects what is holy and clean (our bodies - temples) will not be allowed to be apart of the christian congregation.
Lev 10:10 And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;
Jesus is looking for those who left behind unclean practices of smoking/drug abuse, homosexuality, immorality, and idolatry.
Luk 15:6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together [his] friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

If he/she is gay and continues to practice "this lifestyle" then NO.
If he/she is fighting this fleshly desire and have in his heart the good intention of serving Jehovah and is living his/her life according to God's morol standards, then yes.

Jehovah's Witnesses are Christian, but their theology is a bit funny. Anybody who is serious about Jesus, reading the Bible and asking God earnestly for help through prayer constantly will be able to "follow a straight path for their feet." Psalm 27:11 - "Teach me your way, Lord; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors." So I don't see any point to joining this religion in particular if you want to be straight.
