yes it is ok to do anything you would normally do even when you are not menstruating. as a matter of fact doing things like that lessens the flow. you can even go swimming if you wear a tampon.

Yes, a bit of exercise such as walking is ok to do during your period. I found out from first hand experience as a teen that I couldn't do any running when I had to take P.E. when I was in school.
A bit of exercise can help ease cramping if this is a problem. If there is a lot of pain when you try to exercise, even walking I would recommend that you get in touch with your dr to have them evaluate the situation further to see what they think is causing this.

It's perfectly OK to exercise when having your monthly period.
Walking, running, jogging, biking.......
As exercise promotes blood circulation and increases oxygen intake, it therefore helps you to discharge off your toxins and waste (including the menstrual flow) efficiently.....
Some girls fear that exercise will cause heavy flow or cessation of flow......
These are baseless because the pattern of flow probably is due more to hormonal changes or whether sufficient nutrients are consumed, not because of exercise......

Perfectly fine to do daily activities and working out while on your period.
It'll actually help distract you from any cramps or PMS symptoms you may have.
