No. The 50 caliber bullet is .51inches wide, about 2.5 inches long and moves about about 3000 fps. It is not a magic bullet. It needs to hit you to do any damage.

It is possible. 20 mm guns can kill people without hitting them. Read about what the OK city bomber used to do for fun in Iraq during desert storm. This is not a stupid question. There is a term for it but it escapes me.

it could/will damage your hearing but we're talking inches away from your ear but that's about it. If you were standing next to the muzzle you might get burned form the hot gasses

If it doesn't hit you it won't hurt you......... but you might hurt yourself getting out of the line of fire. Then there is the problem of finding a stick to clean out your drawers.

yes, if you feel the wind off a car going 60 miles per hour, imagine a bullet going 2000 fps, aka 1500 mph. you might not be maimed, but youll be messed up.

No.

It might hurt your hearing if it goes right by your ear, but that doesn't mean much.

As a matter of fact depending on how close you are to the muzzle and how close the bullet came to you, it could lay you wide open just from the massive amount of air flow from around the bullet...
