is there anyway i can run a virus scan prior to xp being loaded. whenever i click any program, a virus will pop up. even when the computer is just sitting there i get warnings of spyware and adware, what can i do?

Ok, so my last question asked how someone who loves me could be happy in heaven when he knew I was in hell, suffering and there was nothing he could do about it. People responded that God would erase his memory of me, or that somehow he would never think of me, and thus not feel my suffering. The question becomes...Is that something you want? Do you want to lose everything you love, to be eternally blissful in your ignorance? If 3 people went bodily to heaven, Elijah, Enoch, and of course Jesus, and say they (the first two, not Jesus) met their relatives who did not recognize them....Do you think they were horrified? I would be, if someone who loved me had lost all memory of me for exstacy....I find that thought scarier than eternal fire. The fire is pain, but pain is nothing to losing those you love. Why does heaven require that we lose what really matters in life, something Jesus told us to practice on earth: Love?

All my life, I've been involved with certifications, standards, knowledge sharing. I've been on ANSI's DISA X12 Committee (I worked on HIPAA standards 1990-1993, among other things) ebXML, JCAHO, etc. Whatever it is that is civilized, there are standards for it. Let's start a project to apply standard values to the 'miracles' of the bible.

Since we have the explanations for many of the diseases and infections (physical and mental) affecting the characters, why not link them to the appropriate ICD9 codes? Anyone who wants to help can answer here; we can build a website to house the results.

I have a court order that gives my ex every other weekend, 1/2 summer, 1 week at Christmas with our 8 yo daughter. My ex has since moved out of state so obviously cannot have her every other weekend. Our daughter has since been diagnosed with ADHD, Dyslexia and fine motor skills disability. She is reading at a first grade level and is going in to 3rd grade. The school has requested she attend summer school for 5 weeks during summer break. My ex is demanding that I now allow him to have her for the whole summer. I have reiterated how important it is for her to go to summer school as her disabilities are having an effect on her confidence & self esteem, but he is threatening to take me back to court to force my hand. Can someone tell me if an ex-parte hearing would help my cause before he does the same. Also, can he request an ex-parte hearing in his state CO even though our initial order is in CA? Would I get equal rights to 1/2 the summer to enjoy with her?

We have a substantial amount of tax debt that is burying us financially...we are making payments but we also need a new car. There is a lien on our home so we are unable to get either a consolidation loan or a loan for the car...we both work and so having two cars is non-negotiable. Does anyone know if it's worth if to file an OIC on our own...or should we hire a tax attorney?

OK, im an admin. assistant i am 19 years old. This guy i work with USE to be in charge of our office like 5 years ago. Then my boss hired him back for the hurricane season(i work for a disaster relief company). So he is in and out of the office to go work in the field. WELL, when he is in the office, he expects me to get all his work and plus some. He gets paid salary of $1500.00 a week. I get paid hourly $9.50 a week. Well, when he gets in town, i dread it, bc im gonna get swamped with his work. Well, when he gets mad at me when i say, "I can't get to your project right now, it'll be tomorrow until i do" he gets irrate. He blew up on me yesterday bc he couldnt get a rise out of me, then he started to call me names and kept egging me on. So i blew up and sound like a complete monster. He wrote me up and gave to my supervisor, which my supervisor shredded it. He says he knows how that guy is, but how am i suppose to handle it? My boss' are on vacation right now.

I have great cardio endurance, so even in my toughest cardio classes my heart rate rarely goes above 162 bpm. Last week my allergies were horrible and I started taking Claritan in the morning. Suddenly my heart rate (in cardio class) was in the 170s. Is it because of the medicine or could it be something else?

I'm not!! I’m 16.
I've had been on the honor roll for seven years (but this year, do to some problems I have, to get a 4.0 GPA).I'm in a lot of good actives and a lot of people know me. I know a little Spanish and a little of Japanese as well. My old crush, Taylor had got beaten up not to long ago over some girl. And he always has put me down all the time, make me feel small. He was a loser from the beginning and I should have seen it. Also I’ve also heard one of them saying “don’t worry, she’s stupid, she believe anything!” I do not believe IN EVERYTHING!!
All my crushes ARE LOSERS, I don't want to end up like my grand mama, it had happen to her the same way as well.
Plus, my old crushes have friends like them and they keep thinking I'm stupid or weird, for the reason that I'm different from the other girls in my school.
One of my friends knows one of my old crushes, and she had said” he is a BIG JERK!”
How can I find some one who treats me right, like a best friend and turn into to my boyfriend someday?
Because, most of my guy friends are very nasty, bi, and gay and some a step above my old crushes.
Plus, three of them live around me and one lives in the city, (the 18 year old).
