You pose some interesting questions and its easy to see that you dont yet understand the plan of God. He doesnt want anyone to be lost, and neither does a Christian. BUt, God wont make ppl love Him or serve Him, nor can we. He doesnt want a bunch of mindless little robots serving HIm because they HAVE to. So, some ppl we love will ve saved and some will be lost. God doesnt do it, we all have choice, and when one is lost, its because they would not accept Jesus. What would God do with them? Allow them into heaven with us.? They would be miserable there, and ruin heaven like they do here on earth with their sin. So, we all make a choice whre we end up. Dont blame God for that.
How could we enjoy heaven, if we were up there remembering all that was lost of our loved ones? WE couldnt. So , a loving God tells us He will wipe their memory away. ANd yes, we hate the thought of anyone being lost, especially those we love. But noone can make them accept Jesus. Even as Jesus walked this earth, many rejected Him and wanted Him dead. They couldnt take His life. He tells us that He willing gave up His life for us, because He loved us. It isnt HIs fault of so many reject Him and owuld prefer to live a life of sin on this earth. Not Gods fault, nor the fault of any Christian either. Would you rather we be in Heaven remebering our loved ones and knowing they are in hell? Now, where is the bliss and joy of Heaven in that one? NOT. None of us want to lose any that we love, but we all have choice. all we can do is try to tell them now and if they reject it and us, we can do nothing about it. They wont be forced, not even by God. ANd if we do go to Heaven, we wil recognize our loved ones. God says so. Wont be going up and not knowing some of them. God says we will just know them. The only forgetting is of that go in forgetting those that dont. God is a loving kind God and thats the best He can do, because of the gift of free choice. I am glad He will take from us the memory of those, or it would be hell up there. And I am glad that the evil ppl wont be in heaven, or they would make heaven just like it is right here right now today, with all of the murders, rapes, lying, stealing, all of it. No thanks. Yes, the fire is pain. Knowing we will have loved ones lost is pain too, but they arent gonna be forced. We must accept that, keep loving them and praying, its allw e can do. Jesus told us to preactice LOVE , you are right. and we are to love Him enough to obey Him and know His plan is the right plan and that only HE knows best. Who are we to question Gods plan? We could not be happy in heaven if we knew our loved ones were in hell. So, God did what He had to do to make it still Heaven for those of us that do go. I choose Jesus today. I pray all will, but the Bible says some wont, and they have noone to blame but themselves. The main word in all of this is CHOICE and then love. We can choose to love Jesus or reject Him. all precious choice. and if you dont want ppl you love having to forget about you, then think on this, you have CHOICE too. CHOOSE for Jesus today, and be there with the rest of your family that will choose Jesus Christ. Ask and ye shall receive, and remember Jesus is so quick to forgive. Just ask Him and ask Him to be real to you and watch your life change. Get a BIble, study for yourself and KNOW... ITs the only way to go.
Our choices today determine where we will be later...
Choose JESUS>

Great question. We can only know that God will wipe away every tear, and that life in Heaven will be happy no matter what. There are lots of sad things in the world, and indeed the final resting place of some souls could be Hell. But those saved will be happy in Heaven. I would imagine that Heaven will be so great that you would quickly forget anyone not there. Your question also brings up another point - about how in Heaven there really are no families or spouses as there are on Earth. It is well established that according to the Bible you do not stay married in Heaven. You do not keep the same partners that you had on Earth. Therefore, I would think that you do not have siblings as you did on Earth. You will have an entirely new life - neither male nor female (in Christ), not constrained by an Earthly body, not part of the same family or social group. So I guess I would just say 'don't worry', God will sort it all out.

Look at my answer to your last question. NO ONE IS BURNING IN HELL. IF YOU CAN PROVE FROM THE BIBLE THAT SOMEONE IS BURNING IN HELL OR WILL BURN IN HELL FOR ETERNITY, I WILL MAIL YOU A MONEY ORDER FOR $100.00 DOLLARS.
Here is an answer to this new question you pose.
What heaven requires us to give up is that which would make us unhappy and unqualified for heaven.
The qualification for heaven is a Christlike character. A Christlike character is the only kind of character that could enjoy heaven and the only kind of character that could be trusted in heaven.
The process by which this character is developed by God' s grace as we cooperate with Him through life may at times be painful.
Why ?
Because human nature is sinful which is basically selfishness.
In order to be prepared for heaven, we must cooperate with God throughout our life to overcome this principle of human nature. Our whole being is opposed to this work .
Conquering oneself in the strength of Christ is possible but painful because of our predisposition to sin - self gratification and selfishness in general.

I've struggled with the same question. How can we not have sorrow in Heaven knowing that loved ones are in hell? I have guessed that it is not through ignorance but through the overwhelming power of God to provide peace and comfort to those in His presence, and the fact that no one will be able to say at the end that they didn't get a fair shot.

There is a book called "90 Minutes in Heaven." The writer's name is Don Piper. He was in a car accident and left for dead by State Troopers, EMS, for ninety minutes. He claims he went to heaven for that time period. He says he was met by loved ones who had passed away, and that he never missed earth. In fact, when he came back, he went through a horribe recovery period, and he longed to go back to Heaven.
The fact of the matter is, eternity is a different place, and you have to choose where you want to spend it. Heaven or hell. Why should someone who made the right choice feel bad over your wrong choice?

Your missing the fact that in heaven you'll be happier than you have ever experienced before. We can't imagine what total happiness is until we get to heaven. You will be so happy that you will not even think of how life was here on earth. In heaven you will feel nothing but love.

I guess that's just an added baddy in hell, huh? Those in heaven will be blissfully ignorant of your existance, hence they won't be at all worried. Of course I'd much rather not remember my loved ones that were in hell than sit around worrying about them all the time. You see, those in heaven won't be suffering over this little problem. The thing is, if you don't believe in hell, why worry about it, and if you do believe in it, shouldn't you try to keep yourself out of there? Just a bit of common sense.

First you have had your whole life to repent of your sins, and accept Christ as your personal savior. If you end up in hell after your death. Then it's your own fault. If you died and went to Heaven.People in Heaven that knew you on earth will know who you are.Your senses will not be the same in Heaven as it is here on earth. If you are in Heaven. You will not have any sin in you,or on you.You will not know what sin is,nor will you ever know.If you spent time with an unbeliever, and you loved them very much.If you did not tell them the gospel of Jesus Christ(which a lot of us fail to do correctly.)When they die,you will never see them again. It gets pretty deep. You have asked a question that has been asked more than once.

That is dumb, we will reconize eachother and know that people didn't go to heaven and are in hell. The thing is that we will know that God is such a good God that he gave them every chance to go to heaven as well. We will not have time to think about those things, because we will be in the presence of an almighty and glorious God. We will not need to think on the things that have happend previously, but will be looking forwards and worshiping the Lord with everything in us.

I don't think he erases anything. I think the people in Heaven can see exactly why a person was in Hell and they love God so much that when they see that a person went to Hell because they didn't love God they will only praise God in his righteous judgments and feel sorry for God because of what he went through to only have it thrown back in his face.
