He visits his local Technical College and finally chooses Car Mechanics. For months, he gives his all and spends every minute reading and working on engines. Leading up to the Finals he carefully prepares as he is convinced he'll make an excellent mechanic.
After the Practical exam, the tutor gives him 150 % ! Although very pleased with his all time best result he asks the tutor how it is possible to achieve this percentage !
" Well, " says the tutor, " I gave you 50 % for the dismantling of the engine, 50 % for its reassembling and then I had to give you another 50 % for doing all of it through the exhaust pipe " !

The speed limit on a certain interstate highway is 70 miles per hour. Drivers caught speeding on the highway must pay a fine; the fine is caluculated using the following formula:
F= X^2-5X

I have seen a lot of things in life, but this is just horrible. I read a question earlier that said
"How can Democrats support pro-choice, but not like the death sentence?"
She made great points! then i read some answers that pushed me over the edge. How can people sit there and say that its not murder? its just a 'fetus.' That is a poor helpless child living inside of a woman and then they want to just decide to murder her own flesh and blood. Its makes me SICK!

Then people use it as an excuse, what if she was gang banged by several men and raped...SO?!?! did that child have a choice to be born, it was not that innocent childs fault! PERIOD! a woman does not have to murder her child, it is also a part of her as well.

I don't think it should be an option to MURDER an innocent life, at all! They should go through the entire pregnancy and give it up for adoption, instead of shredding the baby by the pieces, just so that 'women' can be at piece.

ABORTION = MURDER!

It's like no matter how I act or what I do, I will never be liked by some of the Christians here. And I haven't even done anything to most of them--I've even offered some help through a few questions with a Christian POV before, without inserting my own feelings into it.

Sorry if I'm rambling, but long story short: why can't atheists and Christians agree to disagree, without having to resort to name calling?

A decade ago the mortgage underwriting standards were pretty simple: 10% minimum down; P&I not to exceed 25% of your net income, 35% of your gross income.

Is anyone that does not meet these traditional metrics considered a sub-prime borougher?

Or is there some “new and improved” underwriting standard?

I’ve heard a number of different explanations about what a sub-prime borougher is. I’ve heard things like FICO scores below 600 or below 500. Or boroughers with a history for bankruptcy. I’ve heard boroughers that qualify on stated income.

I am just curious because it seems that this definition is key for estimating how deep the housing correction will be. If the definition hinges on the traditional underwriting standards, then there is a whole lot more correcting in the future.

I just asked a question a little while ago and some people assumed that I have a religion. Aren't assumptions the mother orf all (expletive) ups? Why do I have to be a religious person to ask a question like the one that I just asked? Why can't I be an Atheist or an Agnostic, or a Freethinker, or a Humanist who doesn't agree with the way that some people who are Atheists, Agnostics, Freethinkers, and Humanists act, feel, or believe? *Gasp* Did I just say something blasphemous? I heard that a fish's memory was seven seconds, but does it vary for different species of fish. I'm asking particularly about Bettas, guppies, and goldfish. Also, is it possible for fish to recognize someone? If so, how long does it take them to do that?
