I appreciate the answers I'm getting exept from Kevin P. Seems like he's unhappy and likes calling people idiots(I'm sure he does this on the internet only).

Many drivers past and present seem to share this philosophy. If you are a fan of a particular driver as in Tony, you usually think he's done nothing wrong. Thus all the Smoke fans will blame Busch. If you are a Tony hater, you will point the finger at him any chance you get.

I personally do not like dangerous driving that leads to these type of incidents. If you want to see the benefit of sportsmanship you simply have to look at 2 races this year when Jeff Burton was trying to pass either Johnson or Gordon at the end of the race but was unable to do it safely and came in second. A few races later the favor was returned at the end of the race when Burton easily passed the Hendrick car that moved over to let him by. Favor repayed.....that's sportsmanship....that's safe driving....

Unfortunately, I can't agree with that because I believe Kurt or Kurt's spotter bears most of the responsibility for the crash.
Doesn't mean that Stewart is innocent, he could have checked up early on, but once they came off the turn, Busch and Stewart were doomed.
The philosophy is stupid, when you wreck someone, there's a chance you get wrecked too, and nobody who wants to win would be stupid enough to do that.

Tony is the most aggressive and stubborn Driver on the track. You have to know when racing Tony he will not give up an inch. Unfortunatley for Drivers who drive the same way it usually means getting into a wreck with Tony.

Enter Kurt Busch another aggressive and stubborn Driver who never gives an inch. Those two have tangled twice this season and numerous times in previous seasons.

The way Tony drives sometimes it seems he has a philosophy "if you can't beat them, wreck them." He is just an overly aggressive Driver whose aggressiveness has cost him races and his Team cars. And yes, he has intentionally wrecked some Drivers in the past. In 06 alone he intentionally wrecked Kennseth and Boyer.

Kurt however has lived by the philosphy of "If you can't beat them, wreck them." Early in his career 1 out 2 times that he won he had wrecked someone in the closing laps. The most famous one was Bristol in 02 when he intentionally wrecked Spencer to win.

Tony + Kurt = wrecks, wrecks, and more wrecks.

Just watched the wreck again and Tony is in the perfered line.Busch is attempting to pass under Tony. Before he clears Tony Busch moves UP into Tony and Busch losses it and gets hit again by Tony.
Busch missed the mark,or his spotter was asleep.
Then the way he approached Tony's car on pit road, endangering a crewmember, proved he was and is a pure inmature idiot.
I carry a Kurt Busch bumper sticker on my truck and I still like him but the pit road crap,I think NASCAR should suspend him for at least 1 race,as well as a fine, and loss of points. And the crewman should file charges(attempted vehicular assalt.)

I have to wonder why people would think poorly of Tony for what happened.

Busch said the magic words himself.. "he didn't want to give me an inch". Well... why should he? It was a race and Tony wanted to better his position just as much as Kurt wanted to better his position. Why should Tony help Kurt do that by giving him the space to make the pass. It's racing!

Years ago if that would have happened between two drivers in a NASCAR race the one whining would have been laughed off the track.

My question to you would be, do you condone what Kurt Busch did on pit road after what happened on the track? I wouldn't be ridiculing Tony right now if I were you.

I didn't see the interview but, I did read the story on NASCAR.com. Tony said he's going to adopt Matt Kenseths way of racing. He's going to race other people how they race him. Kurt busch never gives anybody any room to race, look at the all-star challenge when him and his brother got together. Same thing in Dover but, when Kurt ran into Tony's car on pit road and almost hit his jack man, that says alot about Kurt Busch as a driver. I'm sure Tony has ran into other drivers on pit road but not when one of their crew members is right next to the car.

No, I don't agree with Stewart's philosophy. You shouldn't have to wreck them at all. And that should be for every driver.
I know that things happen, but if it can be avoided it should be.
As for Busch doing what he did in the pits. He should be put on probation and fined.

It would be cool to have a pay per view event where only Kurt and Tony were the only ones on the track at Bristol one on one for 50 laps. Their cars would be totaled after only 5 laps though. A free for all.

I would like to start off my response by asking you to please show me where it is quoted that Tony Stewart stated that? There isn't, because he didn't say it, which means you need to rephrase your question. Secondly, I suggest you watch the race next time and pay attention to what is ACTUALLY happening. It was shown VERY CLEARLY that Kurt came up into Tony, soon as Tony got to the wall and had no more place to go up, Kurt's car clipped Tony's, and there you have the wreck. Following this on track occurrance which happens in almost every race, Kurt Busch displayed his childish immaturity and lack of concern for ANYBODY's safety, by flying in to the pits, scraping the side of Tony's car, and almost running over a pit crew member. Now I'm sorry sir, what were you saying? Seems like you have the wrong name in your headline. Next time I think you should actually watch, and instead of seeing what you WANT to see, see what is actually there.

I am not a fan of stewart or busch. I did watch the film serveral times though and it was 100 percent on busch and his spotter. If any of you did that to me during my commute you would be fined too.
