I really am astounded by the ignorance, the last question I asked some people responded by saying such things as.. Talk to me when you see a cat have a litter of puppies and can document it with video tape. Show me a man coming out of the vagina of a chimp and we can talk further about your views. I can't see yellow parrots and blue parrots begotting field mice. OR.. If man came from a monkey...why ARE MONKEYS STILL HERE? Wouldn't they all turn to men. Show me a species that is evolving now. Bears are still having bears...lions still having lions.
No wonder they dont accept evolution they dont even know what it is.. of course a cat isnt going to give birth to puppies.. thats just an ignorant statement all around that shows a complete LACK of any knowledge of evolutionary biology whatsoever. SO I want to know where do u ppl get these ideas? it certainly isnt from science as it has NEVER claimed or stated that one species will spontaneously give birth to a totally different species.

I heard a NASA scientist on NPR this morning discussing global warming. He agrees in the reality of global warming, and that it is caused by human action, he just questions if it is truly a bad thing. He said that working to stop climate change is saying that the climate as it is right now is optimal. He brings up the fact that the climate has changed numerous times throughout the world's history (dinosaurs time, ice ages, etc.) and thinks it is rather arrogant for us to decide that we should not allow it to happen any more.

I personally thought his idea was crazy, but I'm curious to hear what others think.

A long story made short.
My biological mother died last August so i recently decided to get a tattoo to remind me of her presence and to never forget about her. I do not regret getting the tattoo but my family is relentless in harassing me about it. It seems like everytime some conversation about tattoos come to light im suddenly thrown into it in a negative perspective. Its starting to get me upset how my parents, and the rest of my family, cannot accept me for who i am and what my decisions are. So i guess my question is how can i alleviate the harassment and get my parents to understand my situation. I've tried talking it out but they are strict and have a one track mind when it comes to tattoos. Any suggestions would be great thanks.

Hi all,

I met this really great guy. But I don't know if it will work because he's Protestant and I am Catholic. My sister told me that he won't want anything to do with me because of my religion. But I think it's wrong because anybody can be together as long as they learn to comprimise, right?

maybe they are curious and in self - denial.

I think someone is commiting tax fraud and a child support scam. He owns his own construction company and is claiming he is goingunder financially. On the contrary, his company was able to build him his personal 4 bdroom home, purchase a 2007 dodge heavy duty deisel truck when his last truck was only an 05 running fine, paid $10,000 for a trip to Mexico from company funds, and paid $25,000 of his companies money for criminal lawyers for a child molest case against him. How do I prove his company is being used as his personal piggy bank and that its actually turning over a profit and not in debt. It may be in debt but ony because he spends it. any suggestions?

Two part question: I read up on hypochondriasis and it fit me really well. I lean towards mental illnesses rather than physical illness though. I think I am a genuine hypochondriac. But how do I know if I'm not just "thinking" I have this disorder when I don't? That's really confusing.

2nd question:
In Florida, to go to a hospital or clinic or more public places like that do they take young adults and check you out and then get payment or can you just get care without paying or how does that work? I want to look into a few things that could be wrong but don't want parents to take me nor would they accept something might be wrong and I just can't tell them what's up until I see if I'm just being paranoid. So, is there any way I can get help for free?

I guess its because I am a mix of a lot of nationalities but I have: high skulls(which I totally hate) and a greek nose(Im not even greek!)
