I don't know what to think about this. At 4 a.m. I was awake in my room and reading. My bedside lamp turned off on its own. I turned it back on. At 5 a.m. I fell asleep and woke my children up, screaming bloody murder. There was a man standing over me, wearing very distinctive clothing--and I was swinging at him and kicking. He "left". My children told me later that they prayed for me and went back to sleep. Today, the lamp in my bedroom has been turning on by itself (it is a "touch" lamp). I turn it off, and within a few minutes, it turns back on.

So, when my children got home from school, we talked about this occurrence. I am ready to believe that there is a lamp malfunction, and that what I experienced last night was a night terror.

They admitted to seeing this person before in other rooms in the house, and he was violent with my daughter recently. Then she told me what he wears--the same clothing I saw him in. I "prayed" him out of the house in case it's a spirit. Is this enuff?

A girl that I work with is a good friend of mine, but I think she's flirting with me. I have been crushing on her for almost 5 months so I hope she likes me. Anyway, she enjoys teasing me like throwing things at me and sneaking up behind me to scare me, saying things to make me blush, etc. She generally smiles when she talks to me and tilts her head a little bit to the side, but not when she's serious. I haven't seen her flip her hair in front of me which is a key sign of flirting. On a few occasions, she has smiled and winked at me, as well as gently hitting my arm. She has a boyfriend that she has been seeing for a little over a month, but they spend a lot of time together. This leaves me confused, because if she's taken, she shouldn't be flirting with anyone, unless she really isn't flirting with me. I sometimes wonder if she picked someone else because I wasn't picking up her signals. So, is she interested or is she just being friendly?

I have been told that it is much wiser to buy a used car - a few months old with about 2000-3000 miles on it - than buying a new car since it depreciates as soon as it leaves the showroom.

Is that true? I am planning to buy a Toyota corolla, what kind of depreciation should i expect and how much less than MSRP do you think should I pay ? (A % range is also ok).
Would buying a "toyota Certified" used car help?

Are there any other aspects I must look into in the buying process?

that my nephews killer is now serving 20 years for drugs even if he managed to get a "No Bill" in self defense for my nephews death? I do not hate him but part of me feels relieved that he can harm no other young men. My nephew was only 20 years old.

I have an unusual 55 gallon fish tank and it has cornners underneath the tank and we recently had severe thunderstorms with hail and now my 55 gallon fish aquarium has eleast four cracks. Now I was told that it was salvageable but that I would have to build a plattform for it because without the plattform it would give way and the water would be all over the floor.

I need some ideas, please to get her into her own bed. Her room is lovely, full of princesses, she never slept in her crib, her toddler bed and she's never slept in her "big girl" bed. We've tried letting her cry, we've tried staying w/her til she's asleep, she winds up in our bed, smack in the middle. We know now that "co-sleeping" is not for us, but when she was an infant it made life so much easier... please help. I really would like this to be a stress free for her as possible, but it's making her dad and I really cranky. Thanks

Ok so my boyfriend, who I love dearly and is really great, is "joking" about wanting a threesome, but its not funny anymore. He loves his porn and gets off on lesbianism and one guy and many girls.

Personally, I don't like porn and am really not comfortable with having sex with another person (male or female). I've mentioned this to him and he's indicated he understands, but he jokes about a threesome almost everyday.

Not sure how else to answer him with a comeback other than how I'm not comfortable and I can't figure out why he finds it amusing/necessary to touch this topic so often.

I just want to find a lighthearted way to get him to cut back on the comments...any suggestions?

I tell ya..Hollywood is getting Hollywierd with Paris and the actor from Prison Break..and even Brandy!!! But, seems Lindsay doesn't seem to care she could of killed someone in the accident she caused. She fled the accident. She was drinking and doing drugs at the time.

All of those incidents will get you jailtime and a suspended license as well...unless she goes to rehab.

Plus, she drinks....she is underage! She does cocaine and other drugs. Her life is out of control. Obviously her mother is a horrible role model. Somebody needs to smack Lindsay in the face and give her a dose of reality.

Plus, a few days in jail for disrespecting the laws.
