can i hire a hotel room for few hours at day time in sydney CBD area?

Depends on your budget. Backpackers hostels are plentiful in the CBD (George Street) and you pay about $20+ for a bed quad-share dorm room style. So if you wanna hang around and rest/sleep while waiting for your flight/ride, you can try this option. For more privacy, these hostels do offer twin or double rooms too, usually at half or 1/3 the price of a normal hotel room. I'd personally recommend Legends at Westend (Footprints) as it's one of the few backpackers hostels with en suite bathroom. :)

You sound like you are on a budget. There is a really good 'Backpackers' opp the Pitt Street entrance of Central Staion, which is more like a hotel. The rates are good and you could probably afford a night stay there too, if the day stay tires you out.

Most likely yes! In less there just friends in that case what else will two friends do at that time! So either way im leaning toward yes she wants to get down.... Its up to the man to choose the right things to say, otherwise the night could have a Hugh turn!

Yeah ask for day rates. Hotels not so sure, not the flash 'international' ones anyhow - probably go for a motel instead.
