Am I missing the signals?

A girl that I work with is a good friend of mine, but I think she's flirting with me. I have been crushing on her for almost 5 months so I hope she likes me. Anyway, she enjoys teasing me like throwing things at me and sneaking up behind me to scare me, saying things to make me blush, etc. She generally smiles when she talks to me and tilts her head a little bit to the side, but not when she's serious. I haven't seen her flip her hair in front of me which is a key sign of flirting. On a few occasions, she has smiled and winked at me, as well as gently hitting my arm. She has a boyfriend that she has been seeing for a little over a month, but they spend a lot of time together. This leaves me confused, because if she's taken, she shouldn't be flirting with anyone, unless she really isn't flirting with me. I sometimes wonder if she picked someone else because I wasn't picking up her signals. So, is she interested or is she just being friendly?

Of COURSE she is flirting with you. This actually is pretty serious flirting.. almost hilting you on the head with a baseball bat.

Now of course .. what she wants to DO anything more than flirting with YOU is problamatic.

I would heat up the flirting a bit .. but don't be crude .. flattery gets you farther than you might think.

for example .. after her pounce and your blush say .. ah! its YOU my long lost friend.. or .. beautiful as always! or hey you.. something fun, nice, not unnatural.

pounce up behind her and tap on shoulder and whisper "hi beautiful!" .. something nice to make HER blush. be really careful not to be crude .. try and take her lead on what she has done to you and back off a bit.

smile and wink back!

edge up to her and touch HER arm sometimes .. or let it linger if she touches you.

or tap her on the shoulder smile and give her a flower ..give it to her and say Hi honey ..its me..

see what happens and if the time seems right .. see if she will walk with you or go to lunch or ... more.

ps remember:
give it a positive happy energy... (sometimes hard when you are crushing)

keep it fun

you need to reflect back her positive energy .. it lets her know YOU are interested.

and she is NOT married .. she is sorta taken, but is sorta not. one month is not all that serious.

and hair flipping is NOT a major sign for all girls.

nancy cox has a great book on flirting and on body language .. which might help for background but not for specific advice .. so be yourself .. or be just a squeek better than yourself ..but not unnatural.

It sounds to me like she likes you. She may just be that kind of girl who flirts with all the guys though too. Just ask her...and the flipping her hair thing being a sure sign of flirting...says who? I don't think so.

If she has a man of one month. Than you look like you missed the train that you was trying to catch. First you have to be sure if she likes you or if she is just playing with your head. It sounds like she is a little player. Like me. ha ha. Simply.

Well if the other guy isn't a friend, Then PLAY BALL! Get your game on dude. If she isn't then you lose nothing, just be respectfull to her, and tell her how you fell.

she's flirting with you! i don't know if she's doing it for fun or not cause i don't know her personality. however, my friends usually flirt with guys for fun, even if they're not interessted. but as her! what have you got to lose? if she really likes you, then you'll know. if not, you can stop wasting ur time on her.
