Friends & acquaintances yes. Some are on pills, some are on ice. I fought an addiction to crystal & have been clean for 10 yrs now! It's tough to deal with but, the WORST thing you can do is enable them!! You just have to walk away & let them know you will be there for them when they want to get clean!

I have friends who drink coffee and smoke cigarettes... that makes them slaves to two of the most addictive substances on the planet; on that count, most members of Alcoholics Anonymous are actually still active addicts!!

Unforunately..my firend overdosed on meth and cocaine 3 months ago. I hope that if anyone out there who does have a firend...PLEASE PLEASE take them to an intervention before its too late.I lost a firend and two babies will never get to know who their father was and how kind and loving human being he was when he wasn't on the influence on drugs.If YOU are an addict go get help you have no idea how much u are putting those who love and care for you through so much pain and suffering

got a couple who are pretty much addicted to weed. they still have really good jobs, they just get stoned when not at work.
a few friends who drink too much, but again they also have good jobs.
a few friends who take too much ecstacy, but no where near being addicts.

I have alot of friends addicted to drugs, weed, cocaine, Alcohol, percocets, xanax, vicodin, Oxycotin, LSD

ive lost 2 best friends to drugs :(
one did weed, i didnt have a problem with it as an occasional thing but he smokes every day
the other to lsd, simply because of peer pressure

Normally I wouldn't answer this as my life has nothing to do w/drugs but over my many routes in life I have seen many things. One of which was worlds falling apart and lives torn to shreds over drug abuse. It is never pretty to watch helplessly from the sidelines as someone who had potential fall into the pit of it all.
