I have recently discovered that, as well as lactose intolerant, I have "fructose malabsorption", i.e. fructose gives me stomach cramos and bloating. As my symptoms were getting bad, I decided to undergo a no-sugar diet (no sucrose, lactose or fructose). I can eat glucose and starch, so carbohydrates intake is not a problem.
I must have lost about 5 kg in 2 months, though! I never expected this to happen. I was quite light before (around 48Kg = 7st7lb = 105lb), but now I have reached almost skinny levels... Not that I mind too much, but why did I loose so much weight? I don´t think the total number of Kcal in my diet changed.
