My course is Psychology and I've decided to write my 5 minute speech based on the concept of encoding specificity. I have an idea of how I want it to start, but then.. that's all I have. hi. i am a student just completed my high school. i am interested in a career in computers security. the prob is that i am quite adept in the field having started at a young age albeit informally. now i m in a loss as to which courses or degrees to opt for, never having paid attention to stuff like this. as far as i know there r two options- bca and bsc(computers). what is the diff b/w the two nd which one is suitable for me. i m primarly interested in network adminstration and stuff. please suggest.

i'll be broadcasting a live dj mix show from my room, so i need to broadcast sound, video, and maybe some onscreen effects at minimul cost. the broadcast is open to all to be recieved by antenna... or digital satellite.

I have a horse, 3 rottweilers, a cat, and a hamster. I'm constantly exposed to animals. I also have 8 fancy goldfish. Obviously I don't want cross contamination so I have to wash my hands before putting them in the tank (if I have to, i'm not saying I do this all the time). Is there any soap that would be better than another for me to use? I don't want to get any soap into the tank but at the same time I don't want all the animal germs getting in there either!

i was browsing through the ikea catalogue and i spotted a lovely themed room, with deep purples and oranges. I fell in love with it, but as we all know- in a catalogue EVERYTHING looks great, but with my mess and all my stuff it might not be so clean cut. What d'you guys think? A good choice for a bedroom? How does the USA's new immigration (amnesty) policy keep those who are criminals from getting into the country?

I have read that there will be background checks, but what if someone has not been charged for a crime in the US and they are not in our "system"? Are we basically giving the nod to criminals?

And keep in mind I am not saying that ALL of those included in this group ARE criminals or involved in criminal activity...nor have I mentioned the "M" word...

Does it seem possible to do a back ground check on 12 million people?

There are small monkeys at my local Zoo that are housed on an island in a large lake. But I was wondering, can they swim, in which case why don't they and escape, or if they can't swim, which is likely, what happens if one of them falls in?
(it's too far from the land area for someone to rescue the monkey quick enough).
The monkeys are always dangling over the edge close to the water so it's only a matter of time before one slips and I am worried! :)

If it is only indoors, when people go outside for a puff where do they put the ciggarette out, because they aren't supposed to drop it anymore are they, even though they do, surely there will be even more cigarette ends on the street if they can't smoke inside ?
Just curious, I'm NOT a smoker and have longed for the time when I no longer have to breath other peoples smoke, but I see people breaking the laws already in place and I wonder how these bans will be enforced?
