if i filled a wide pipe(w/e say 5 inches wide) with water. then capped off one end and let the water hang inside the pipe with the open side down. and i tried to float somthing that floats in water under normal preasure. (pongpong ball or w/e) will it float in the water and up the pipe? my guess it it wont float to the top. would there be anyway to float up the pipe? im trying to see how i can counter gravity force.

I am 9 weeks pregnant today. I have NO symptoms at all of being pregnant, however I can really see the veins in my breasts and chest which wasn't like that until I got pregnant. They don't hurt or anything you can really see the veins though. I don't have any other symptoms of pregnancy anyone else having a symptom free pregnancy and does anyone else have this vein thingy going on?

My parents bought me a brand new Sony VAIO (don't know the model number) laptop on Valentine's Day (February 14th) of this year. On May 5th I got in a wreck, I flipped my car two-three times; the computer was in a bag but it broke anyway. (I guess because of the impact.) The casing is cracked on one side right below the keyboard...the computer still works but since the computer has a warranty I would like to send it back. I am almost sure I have hard drive damage, since the computer has bad little tweaks since I got in the wreck. My father paid an extra $200 for insurance through WAL*MART (which is where he purchased the computer). What I want to know is who I do I call?

OKAY IM A SOON TO GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR. I WANT TO ATTEND ASU (ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY), I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA. ASU HAS BEEN MY DREAM SCHOOL SINCE MIDDLE SCHOOL. BUT EVER SINCE I FOUND OUT I AM PUT UNDER NONRESIDENT TUITION. MY TUITION WILL COST A BIT MORE THAN ABOUT 24,000 DOLLARS! yikes!

ALTHOUGH MY EFC IS ABOUT 6,000, MY PARENTS ARE STILL NOT GOING TO CONTRIBUTE ANYTHING.

PUT IT THIS WAY, I HAVE TO DO IT ON MY OWN. BUT I CAN'T GET MANY SCHOLARSHIPS BECAUSE OF MY PARENTS INCOME!

ANY HELP?

AND ASU ISN'T BEING MUCH OF A SUPPORT EITHER.

AND I'M NOT GOING TO COMMUNITY COLLEGE, NOT STAYING IN CALIFORNIA FOR COLLEGE, I ALREADY DECLINED ALL THE OTHER 7-8 SCHOOLS I GOT INTO. INCLUDING BERKELEY!!!!

I am 38 weeks pregnant am very anxious! I have been dilated to 2cm for about a week and a half now and tried drinking castor oil last week after i went into pre-labor. It didn't do anything, I felt a little sick to my stomach but other than that, no effects (maybe I didn't take enough?) I am thinking about trying it again since I am now a week further, anyone have any idea if it might work this time or exactly how much I am supposed to take?

Im 13 weeks pregnant and had really bad pains at the top and side of my stomach and was getting migrains feeling faint and throwing up! Now i know thats not good so i called the NHS direct and i got told to go straight in so i did and got seen right away and all they done was took a water sample off me and done my blood pressure. How could they tell that the baby was ok if they didn't listen to the heart beat or do a scan? My cousin is a midwife and she told me that they sould have done one, same as my auntie say...she is a doctor! So what should have happened? All tehy told me at the hospital was that its just really growing pains and that i have to take codeine. Thanks Danni x

My husband can not stand my Dad. And every chance he gets he will cut my Dad down to me. Well I do defend my Dad, and my husband can't stand it. I mean he hates him. But hey he's my dad and I love him and so do his grandkids (2). My husband told me that I have to cut all ties with my parents or we are through. What do you do with that? I have a product that would be great to sell at Christian stores or for fundraising. I would like to start out selling these to Christian stores and see if they would then help me market the product as a fundraiser for local churches. I have a bunch of numbers of the different stores in my area but I'm not sure how to go about asking them if they would be interesting in selling my product. Okay, we have uped the car seat law to be 80 lbs and 8 years old now and we have the seat belt law where now you can get pulled over for it. But....

On saturday, I was driving down the road and saw a guy on a motorcycle with a thin child about 7 years old, she was waving with one hand and holding on with the other. (no she wasn't in a parade) they both had helments on.

With all these carseat laws, how can they allow a child ride on the back of a motorcylce where there is no seatbelt or child seat.

Now, I am not downing motorcylist. my point on this is how can they have such strict laws for a vehicle where your enclosed, as opposed to the letting a child on a motorcycle where they are completely exposed.

My fiancee has a ex wife and they have no kids together and have been divorced since 2004.She wants him back but he said that he just talk with her about her kids that he raised for four years why they were married.She said that she divoced him for cheating,but he said that she was just insecure and very jealous. And i don't want him to feel like i'am acting like her at all! He is also such a good man to me and gives me and my daugther any thing we want.He's a christian man that i love and when he's not at work he is with me.Now let me tell you that i am 31 and he is 41. What makes me so mad is that she wiil call the house like 10 times a day for nothing and when i answer the phone she will hold it and then say nothing before hanging up.Now it's the little things that i hear being said in his conversation with her that makes me wonder what's going on!! I need to know should i trust and confine in him or should i give him his engagement ring back until i feel like i'am ready to go on?

could anyone help me with this, i havent had a positive test but got all simtoms of pregnancy and ive been avin really bad pain in lower tummy and it is swollen. my nurse said i mite be avin an eptopic pregnancy.
