It scares me a lot. Remember when men used to play sports and be men?
Now they run around with makeup on, wearing tights and talking about loving a tree, or whatever this new age crap is about.
No wonder women are running around scared and clueless.

Woman running around scared and clueless????where is this happening???I think men still play sports and so does some of those (your words,scared woman) I think you might go to another bar, once you sober up, i do not see that many men wearing make up...unless you count all the men on TV and in the movies.
Why can't gay folks go to church and you shouldn't be scared they are not ( in most cases) looking at you with lust in there eyes...
Take a chill pill and enjoy life and quit being so "scared"

You look like you just got up from a three day weekend. Oh yes one of those pagan rituals of celebrating the dead weekends.
And gay people in church? So Sorry. But there are a lot of people that go to church that are hypocrits and braggarts and haters and bigotts. At least when you know someone is gay they are not hiding it.
Or are we taking about the churches that also preach hate and intolerance instead of love and acceptance of the person not what the are or do?

Why does it scare you so much.
Are you afraid you are one of them? Men still play sports, even gay men play sports. As far as I'm concerned there is way too much violence in most sports anyway.
There have been homosexuals throughout all of history and references to them in pre-history. Many cultures considered homosexuals to be special, closer to the Gods because the masculine and feminine is more balanced within them.
I'd like to know, where are the women who are running around scared and clueless.
This is one heterosexual woman who has no fear of gay men, they don't threaten me in any way.
And if gay men want to wear makeup, or hug a tree, what is wrong with that? I like to hug trees myself, and I don't wear makeup.
A REAL man would not be threatened or scared by any of this.
As for them being in Church, they have as much right to practice their religion, which ever one they choose, without having to fear being prosecuted by ignorant, bigoted people, or by having people telling them that their religion considers them an abomination.
It is funny, that with all the revisions over the early centuries that the bible has been through, that no one has thought that so many passages may well have been added to reflect the bigotry of the time.
Try opening your mind just a little bit, you might find there is a whole wonderful world out here that you have shut yourself off from because of your "fears" of homosexuals.
I know that this is a little stereotypical, and I don't mean any offense by this, but just think how dull and drab this world would be without the colorful fashion sense of many gay men.

Gay men do not scare me, they are no threat to me at all, straight men scare me, they are the ones that hurt woman not gay men, so why should i fear a gay man?, i am not running around scared and clueless over gay men, I'm not clueless at all, when i walk the streets at night what scares me are all the straight guys out there.

Women are scared and clueless? What planet are you living on? I have no idea what you're referring to, but..news flash, men have been wearing tight clothes and makeup forever. That is if you want to test your brain enough to look back upon the Renaissance era or the eras before during the ancient Greek and Roman plays.

Who cares if there are gay people on this earth, its not you so why does it bother you????? or are you upset that they don't hit on you???? Just because some people are gay doesn't mean they are out to hurt you. I'm guessing you have no security in your life and alot of hate in you, God does say ' love thy neighbor ' And I know God doesn't want that but its up to that person. But I guess you are entitled to your own opinion.

I am gay and a Christian...and I go to a progressive Methodist church....no, it doesn't scare me....
You obviously, don't know many gay people or it wouldn't probably scare you either...we are just like everyone else...we work hard at our careers...building a life for ourselves and our families....we socialize with friends, take vacations, and work on our homes...
I know you see a few people on t.v. that are flamboyant...but, they no more represent all of gay people...than Fred Phelps or Pat Robertson represent all of Christian people.
Finally...No, I don't wear make up... I am athletic...I am training for a marathon this year...I play baseball...I can change the oil in my own car, and repair most of the problems in my home...I am more "manly" than most straight guys...

YOU are the one scared and clueless! Even gay people are GOD's children! He put them here just like everyone else! Why are you bringing gay people up? If you are so against them, then why can't you just leave it alone? They aren't bothering you, but YOU are the one on here bringing it up! Maybe what you are trying to tell us is that you are gay and affraid to come out! Why else are you talking about a subject you say you are so afraid of??? Don't be afraid, people are open and loving to everyone now, so there is nothing to fear, just come out!

well, instead of it scaring you, why don't you decide for yourself to minister to these people, who need God, just as much as you do. I believe that homosexuality is a sin, however, I am getting tired of this forum gay bashing all the time, especially when it is done by a so-called Christian-who might never have struggled with homosexuality- but remember God saved us from something- Granted I pray that gays repent and come to the knowledge of the truth, but where would we be if we did not repent of our sins? Do not forget where we came from!
