Okay so we met one year ago.Six months or so into the friendship, he explained the pain of his past relationship.Obviously it left him emotionally scarred.He suffers from low self esteem. Hes asked me what I see in him.At times he's caring, and attentive.Then he goes away and we wont speak for a week. His mother and I have gone shopping together.Hes taken me to one of his familys dinners.Introduced me to friends. And yes we sleep together ,minimum twice a month. However, he states that since his last relationship, he lacks compassion, he's told my family members that he loves me, but not me.Hes says he's just not ready for a relationship right now.Will he ever be.Am I wasting my time.I think hes incredible and I just want to be by his side.

I tried twice to express this question, and was unsuccessful.

My question is why the idea of a natural process like reproduction+childbirth is compatible with the existence of God, while the idea of a natural process like mutation+evolution is not ... (i.e. it is tantamount to atheism in fundamentalists' eyes).

(Note: The scientific merits of either theory are irrelevant to this question.)

The source of my question is this: I thought the main theological objection to evolution was something actually profound ... namely, that evolution by natural processes left no room for *purpose*. But if we can choose (or not choose) to imbue the natural process of reproduction+childbirth with divine purpose, then why is this not possible for mutation+evolution? I.e. reproduction+childbirth shows that God can work through natural processes that can be studied scientifically without eliminating that divine purpose.

Instead, all I got was "scripture says 6 days ... that's why."

My brother and I bought a house in 2003, we were both responsible for the payments between the two. He bailed in late 2003 and my girlfriends mom decided to be kind enough to make the house current. Brother decides one day to come back and claim what was once his and i moved out, because he claimed he could handle the house on his own. I became aware that he is late over 4 mths in payments. Since im also on the loan i've been getting promotional letters from lawyers that the house is on the Sheriff Sale for July. We also have a real estate agent in our family and i just saw that she posted up the house for sale a week ago. So my question is since he is so late on the house payments and the house is up for sale now, can it still be foreclosed???? I bought this house with him out of a favor, he didnt have any credit and was starting a family.
