There is a room with sides of 26 ft 7 in. by 32 ft. An octagon is inscribed into the room. The corners, which are triangles, have a square inscribed in the triangles; so there is actually one square in each corner with 2 triangles. I need to find the area of the octagon, the square, and the triangles.

Draw a picture of the room. Label the sides. Then systematically solve the areas of the triangles, squares, and octagon in whatever order you wish.
