My ex husband does not like the idea of my being involved with my daughter's life beyond phone calls and of course my regular visitation. He is a good father overall, and he is remarried with three additional children. I want so badly to be involved as much as possible.... with school, her girl scouts, things of that nature....but circumstances from the past have put me in a position where I am trying to regain rights (i'm not so much talking legal rights) yes, legal...but more just the right to be able to show up at as her mother and be a part of her life outside of his home. I believe his wife plays a big part in this... I dont' understand her position or perspective as I have never been married to someone with an ex-wife.,maybe it's tough, but I do nothing but try my hardest to be friendly.I do not act as a threat or any other inappropriate way, ever ... we are very different though, she and I.... like night and day. question is ... how can I approach this fairly and with class?

I know I shouldn't do it, but the roots are all over my veggie garden and the darn thing now shades my whole garden. The neighbor couldn't care less about the tree, but he refuses to cut it down or let me do so. So how do I kill the darn thing in such a way that is not obvious?

My brother was talking to me about how scientists found this drug that killed cancer cells in rats but they don't want to use on humans.. know why???
They said that the drug is really cheap and they wouldn't be making any money. Thousands of people are now gonna die cuz they aren't making money?? What has this world come to???????

I spent $200 on a DVD burner and it is fantastic! The clarity is great, you cannot even tell that the copies are copies. However when I put them in any DVD player other than my DVD burning capeable one, they do not burn. This defeats the purpose of me spending that much money to buy one! Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

I don't have any friends
I'm almost 20 years old
I'm pretty but a little fat.. trying to lose weight now
I've gained weight recently through compulsive eating
Never had a date in my life
I've been depressed kinda for all of my high school years
because of family stuff but i don't think that's an excuse anymore

anyways,
i have no idea how to find friends
i'm not at high school anymore and it's so much harder to find friends at college cuz the classrooms are so hugeee.. plus, college is done for this year so i'm home all day

i need to get a job
but i don't know what kind

i also don't really want friends in a way
but in a way I do because i'm very loney
it's wierd
i don't really get myself

it's like i can only communicate with people who are not self confident...
it's scary... i just feel intimidated by people with confidence... i feel lower than them

i am also very good with kids, because they are younger than me

i'm mess
and i want to change
help?
