I have a large batch of what I believe to be mainly clam shells, but I am unsure of how to clean, protect and bring out all of their color. I have read that I should soak them in a bleach/water solution for a day or so, then rub them in mineral oil. Is that correct? Also, I have some silicon spray that I think could be useful for sealing them. What would be the best method to follow for this? Also, what would be the best way of gluing broken pieces back to gether? Would Crazy Glue be alright, or should I look for somethign else? The pieces I am working with consist largely of the beautiful purple from inside the shell, so should any special precautions be taken with them?

One last thing, what would be the best way to drill a hole thropugh them? Would a plain power drill be alright, or would some thing more specialized be needed?

I know thats a lot of questions, but thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi. Guys I really would want to hear your advice. I'm obsessed with my bf. And I want to stop. Well here's the story. He's kinda a headturner. We've been dating for 3 years. I'm turning 19 and he just turned 18. I always want to be with him, I always want to see him, I never want to get him out of sight, I've already planned my future with him, I've already introduced him to my family and they know him. About the acceptance, I've been with several guys and told him the truth about what happened with those relationships (You know what I mean) and he told me and made me feel that he's bothered about that. And I feel it's because he grew up in a very conservative family. He never cheated. He made me feel he really loves me. But I'm really not into that and it's because when I see him looking at other girls I really get mad and because of that I really felt inferior. Help me pls. Try to understand my not-so-understandable problem/story. PLEASE.

I feel like we both have given up and I am open about my feelings with my husband. He knows exactly what went wrong, yet he does not take a responsibility of his contribution to our marital problems. We live like housemated, who care about each other, but past issues never been resolved and seems like a sexual chemistry never really existed. I don't blame him, I know my own flaws and at least admit to them. I am just sad that instead of being honest he would keep it all quiet and pretend that everything is great. I am not working at the moment and he tells me that I should be grateful that he is "being nice", that he takes care of me. What is the alternative? What if he was sick or unemployed? I would then take care of him and would not even think that I am going an extra mile. Anyway, what do you do with the husband, who keeps being defensive and unwilling to have an adult discussion about where we are and what we want?!? Tried counselling - no desired change.

I have a professor. He is really a goof professor, but he has something against Christians, particularly Catholics. I've had teachers like this before. I usually just let them spill their hearts out and avoid confrontation; however, this teacher actually will ask students specifically, for instance he’ll ask: "Johnny, are you a Christian." Then he will define what a Christian is, and if Johnny disagrees then he says: "You are not really a Christian you just have never questioned what you were told to believe.” Now I really don't mind if a professor doesn’t like a political party, religion, and so on, but I do have a problem when one gets personal. He told one student that he really doesn't worship God, but only the God of himself. Whether one believes it is true or not is irrelevant. I would not mind if he had said: “people in general only….” It bothers me that he gets personal. The other day I think he noticed my cross, and I’m afraid he might have it out for me. I’m pretty soft spoken, and I’ve only gotten A’s from him. I don’t want to rock the boat. I just want to know the proper way to deal with this without making a big deal of it.
Additional Details

One friend told me to just deny being Christian, but I don't want to lie or think I should have to. Any advice?
