*I'm not referring to anything on yahoo answers because I'm not talking about questions people ask and the answers people give. I mean when people give their opinions on certain subjects when nobody asked them. When they feel the need broadcast it to everyone as the truth and get others to believed when it's not based of fact.

And free speech is not what I'm talking about either. You don't have the right to just say whatever you want whenever you want. Examples: You can't go into somewhere and yell fire! That is against the law. It can create panic.

The reason is that they, like Archie Bunker, are stuck at the fourth level of Kohlberg's hierarchy of moral development. They have everything figured out to their satisfaction, and are probably not going to learn anything or change. To quote Archie, "If God wanted women to equal, He wouldn't have given them long hair." Or, like my dad, who recently overheard me telling someone, that even though my blood pressure was high, my pulse was only in the 50's or 60's. He chimed in, "That's because you don't get enough exercise." (If you don't get it, the less your heart has to beat to keep you alive, the less work it is doing.)

There is something that I always say: "Oppinions Are Relative!" There is no frame of reference to refer to when you want to compare your oppinion with someone else's. Not even facts can be that frame. Therefore truth is relative. Reality is relative. If you believe murdering is wrong under any circumstances, and somebody else believes it is right in some cases, even if you don't agree and they fail to prove it to you, it doesn't mean that either one of you is right or wrong. I know that society teaches us that killing is always wrong. But it is all in the way you look at it, and its truth is different for everyone.

I don't have the right to say what I believe? Whether or not it is the truth is irrelevant. If I believe in God, there is no reason why I can't declare that as the truth... Whether u believe me or not is irrelevant to. If u don't believe me, then that's your perogative, but I can say and believe whatever I want.
