German Hooligan, Jesus encourages us to give up our worldly possessions and to share and live off of the community. What can be more communist than that?

Harridan5, Jesus and John were quite similar don't you think? Only John said imagine and Jesus said do it.

Randall, don't be such a capitalist. Behave yourself. Jesus was a great man.

He said to sell all of your worldly possessions and give them to the poor, the redistribution of wealth. Jesus definitely did not think highly of the bourgeoisie.
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. -- Matthew 19:23-24, Mark 10:23-25

If you'd like to ask him yourself He's usually across the the street from Home Depot looking for day work. It sounds ridiculous but it works. Knowing Spanish helps.
But if you mean the reform rabbi from Nazareth ---
long-haired radical socialist Jew
Well Jesus was a homeless lad With an unwed mother and an absent dad And I really don't think he would have gotten that far If Newt, Pat and Jesse had followed that star Refrain: So let's all sing out praises to That long-haired radical socialist Jew When Jesus taught the people he Would never charge a tuition fee He just took some fishes and some bread And made up free school lunches instead So let's all sing out praises to.... He healed the blind and made them see He brought the lame folks to their feet Rich and poor, any time, anywhere Just pioneering that free health care So let's all sing out praises to.... Jesus hung with a low-life crowd But those working stiffs sure did him proud Some were murderers, thieves and whores But at least they didn't do it as legislators So let's all sing out praises to.... Jesus lived in troubled times the religious right was on the rise Oh what could have saved him from his terrible fate? Separation of church and state. So let's all sing out praises to....Sometimes I fall into deep despair When I hear those hypocrites on the air But every Sunday gives me hope When pastor, deacon, priest, and pope Are all singing out their praises to Some long-haired radical socialist Jew. They're singing out their praises to..oooo..oooo..Some long-haired radical socialist Jew.

I can't and don't. But, uh, aren't you getting Jesus and John Lennon mixed up? Well, Jesus did tell someone, a rich young man, to go and sell all that he had and give it to the poor.

you're right, it is like communism, but He also said that He would give us all that He has. Doesn't sound so bad to me.
If you really want to know something about Jesus you should ask Him. It sounds ridiculous but its works.

I give my life (and all that is in it) to Him, and it is of my will that I do this. Because I know His love, and mercy, and grace, I only hope that my will can be His. For His will is far above and all-knowing.
He is a patriot. He died for my freedom to excape these worldly posessions, because they only block my path to His kingdom.

Christianity is better and far above Communism. It is a system that will last forever and not keep the masses from profiting from their own hard work.
