I always find that cheaper make up is no where near as good as the expensive sort! I love Mac Make up but on a student budget I can't afford it. Does anyone know a place to get good make up cheaply or know of cheaper make up brands which are just as good but won't break the bank?

It's hard for me to be proud for the fallen soldiers or cry for them when I think that their lives were wasted in an unneccesary war. Why can't we just send special forces and leave the regulars at home? This war is just like Vietnam. You can't tell who the enemy is or where they'll strike next. We attacked Sadaam when he wasn't responsible for 9/11. We sent people in to avert a tragedy from weapons that didn't exist. Are we ignoring the fact that the terrorists cells are here in America training for their next attack? Shouldn't we be mostly concerned with protecting our homeground instead of punching into the dark?

I just had a tattoo done last Friday at a new shop, I asked the shop NOT to put it on RateMyInk.com, the tattoo is of a fairy sitting on a toadstool reading a book. Her face turned out really bad, she looks like a man almost, I hate it! I have already talked to my regular artist and he said to let it heal and he can fix it. What do I do about that horrible pic being on there? That shop really thinks it looks great. I just cant wait to have it fixed! Should I call the shop and ask them to remove it? Please give intellegent opinions on this. And for the haters, this is my 25th tattoo, my skin is already covered and I dont care what happens when I'm 80!

Ok, my friends are dating some really dorky guys. One of them is ok he just gets annoying. The other one is really dumb from what I have seen and my friend seems too good for him. I on the other hand am trying to get the courage to ask someone out but am afraid to. They keep talking about these guys and thats all I hear from them and I am getting pretty tired of it. And when I tell them they go we are happy don't bring us down with your mood. Does it sound like I am being really jealous I can't get that courage and ask him out while they have boyfriends.

I don't know what to do? I am getting married in Nov. '07. My dad is looking forward to walking me down the aisle. I don't like the thought of it. We're not close, I have a lot of resentment toward him (childhood stuff), he's an alcoholic...and I know that he is looking forward to it. However, he has always been selfish. He's not helping out withe the wedding financially. NOt that money is everything, but it just reminds me of how self absorbed he is. I hate the thought of him even attending my wedding because he will be falling over drunk and I'll be humiliated! I once had to help him to his room after a reception because he couldn't walk. My mom suggested that I have my brother or her walk me down the aisle. I don't want him recognized at all. My step mom and dad will be livid and shocked and I'm sure hurt. What should I do? Am I going to the extreme? I don't know how to tell him how I feel either. I thought about writing letter? Any advice?
