It's hard for me to be proud for the fallen soldiers or cry for them when I think that their lives were wasted in an unneccesary war. Why can't we just send special forces and leave the regulars at home? This war is just like Vietnam. You can't tell who the enemy is or where they'll strike next. We attacked Sadaam when he wasn't responsible for 9/11. We sent people in to avert a tragedy from weapons that didn't exist. Are we ignoring the fact that the terrorists cells are here in America training for their next attack? Shouldn't we be mostly concerned with protecting our homeground instead of punching into the dark?

I totally agree with you. Toady they are telling on media that a 20 year old soldier who was missing was found dead. Can you imagine how it must be for his family.
Its just their media is telling them that we are sending forces in Iraq to get control over terrorist. No one tells them that they are trained here in USA. Its the media and the governments job to let their people know about the truth.

Yes the troops should be brought home Let them kill themselves it is a civil war that has been going on for 1700 years. If Osama had oil I bet he would have been found by now. We need to protect the borders stop the insanity of building a road from Mexico to Canada throughthe U.S. Unfortunately the majority of the population will not look the facts up but accepts whatever the media dribbles.

I'll answer this part of your question: Osama doesnt have a powerful military force like the U.S., so he had to hunt and peck and hit and run. No, he wouldnt stand up and hold out his arms and sing out he did it. Too many people would be looking for him. He had to be sneaky and tell a lie. He may be a horrible person, but he isnt stupid. If you dont feel sorry for the fallen soldiers, even though they didnt send themselves over there, then that is your business. Have a nice day.

I have to be blunt. Do you have a clue? The soldiers are dying. To say you can't be proud of them because of your selfish perception of the war is sickening. The soldiers are not at fault, period. Don't blame them, instead give them your full support. Vietnam wasn't a popular war either, but the treatment of the soldiers afterward was horrific.
I don't care if your against the war. Don't take it out on the soldiers!

Would you like it better if we didn't have a military at all? So when we are attacked on our own soil, you can fight all by yourself with your mascara wand? You can't have it both ways. The military is there to protect you... and everyone in the military is a volunteer.

So, even if you wonder if the fighting in Iraq is warranted, do not criticize the troops, who volunteered to put themselves between you and the enemy. And never stop showing you appreciation to the families who have sacrificed a son or daughter to that ideal.

That was a mouth full of all the right things to say [IMHO].

Not everyone is free of naiveté in our world. Most people just want to believe that our leaders would not lie. Some people are too involved in their lives to give a damn about anything outside their little world.

Going into Iraq did not make us safer. Bush should have finished up in Afghanistan and left Iraq alone. Saddam was not a tough guy... how many tough guys hide in holes?

Bidding for all units for the defense force must be mixed and there must be a restrict of not more than 50% greater than the natural fee for a civilian according to object placed on them. Welfare must be utterly reformed. Since nearly all of moms by no means completed top college, colleges must upload a category for the ones on welfare in order that the mum and the kids could each attend everyday. Part of the mum's homework everyday could be making certain the children did theirs. This could provide the children the thought that schooling was once foremost. If the mother's have completed top college, then they must be enrolled in a coaching application for anything greater than a minimal salary activity or positioned by way of a neighborhood junior institution. Although the preliminary expenditure could normally be greater than our present ones, I suppose we would just about get rid of welfare inside one new release simply by those alterations. All colleges underneath the institution degree must be nationalized. Their investment must be enough to preserve all of them roughly similar in infrastructure, gear like desktops, and fitting a trainer must be made so much tougher. We can not manage to pay for to have such an asymmetric schooling obtained in extraordinary states. We want ALL our youngsters trained to the equal degree, optimistically sufficient to get us off the backside of the lists in math and technology. This of path could price extra, however ultimately could get us our jobs again and set the economic system buzzing once more.

Our Soldiers have been brainwashed by a coward. Who has never gone to war! Who left his tour of dute early and is a scumbag. The Republicans believe anything that comes out of his mouth. Just look at the Gonzales fiasco right now he still supports that idiot yet everyone is calling for him to be removed. Why because Bush is a stubborn idiot and is trying to make up for what his father couldn't do in Desert Storm.
You are correct it's just like Vietnam. Now, in Iraq you can't tell a terrorist from an Iraqi citizen it's not like they wear a bad where it states one is a terrorist and the other is a citizen of Iraq. If we go to Iran we're screwed. Bush just likes making enemies. He's pathetic and should have been impeached long ago. He lied and people have died on both sides because of his lies. He's nothing but a coward. Republicans like to spin things as if the liberal media is overdramatizing things. No the liberal media found the truth it's the Republicans who can't handle it.

We were mislead by a coward. Now everyone in America is stuck with his stupid decisions to enter Iraq. We need to be out of their as soon as possible and bring our troops homes. Their is no way to win this conflict who ever thinks we can is an idiot.

I think this war was a mistake from the beginning-this administration started off under a cloud of lies--Please don't get me wrong--I LOVE this Country, this is my home but we can and should do better. I love our troops for doing their job without the proper equipment and still they fight on--I realize War is hell, however, before sending these brave men and women into harm's way I sure do expect my Government to know how to get them out of harm's way. I do not have a problem- when it's necessary to go to war--I do have a problem with going to war partially prepared.
