Firefox from http://www.mozilla.com is, in my opinion, the best because:
1. It is constantly being upgraded and enhanced by a worldwide group of programmers who are dedicated to keeping software free and bug-free.
2. It has the same tabbed browsing feature that Netscape offers (recently adopted by Microsoft) without the looooong load time that Netscape seems to have.
3. No ads like the free version of Opera. This is truly free software.
4. Once again, thanks to generous programmers across the world, there are tons of extensions, skins, toolbars and other geegaws available free of charge.

I prefer Opera over Firefox because Firefox tends to hog memory after having it open for an extended amount of time.
