hi guys

i have a new house made out of plasterboard boo hoo!!!

nothing holds in the walls for long

i have tryed buying the proper raw plugs
tried no nails
tried longer screws ect

im at my wits end
my coat hook will just not stay up for long

whats the best thing to do ?....by the way single woman doing it so have a heart at least i try !!!

I tried to update Ancestry.com with my family tree information and I noticed that someone corrected it and made my grandfather and cousin linked to someone else's tree and I know for a fact that it isn't so the way they fixed it. How do you prevent this from happening? I thought it was for people to update their own personal tree not someone else's.

My boyfriend and I started renting this apartment back in feb. At that time we could afford it. Now at 36 weeks pregnant, I am the only one working because he just lost his job. I will not be working much and we can not affored the place. Is there something I can do to get out of it. My lease says only military reasons.... I just cant afford to live there nor can I afford to pay the rest of the lease and the cancle fee. What should I do.

I am currently using W2K server, I downloaded 300 songs from Limewire,not realizing tha W2K server does not have a sound device. Now I also have Linspire/Linux on the same computer wich does have sound capability. I guess my question is can I transfer the music from W2K to Linspire/Linux without screwing up my downloaded music? Any help would be greatly appreciated. P.S. I am kind of new to this computer stuff THANK YOU

I know that this might sound crazy, but how do I know if there is a ghost in my house. I get cold chills all the time and my son acks like he is talking to someone from time to time. There was one day he was talking to a person and he said his name was Mick. I asked my son where he was and he said that Mick was standing right behind me. I even asked him if Mick was a kid or a big person and he said that he was a big person. Sometimes I feel like I am not alone. And this moring when I went to go brush my teeth the toothpast was in the sink. It may have fell on it's own but I do not know.........Is this all in my head?

It means they've found it interesting - Each time you get a star I think that question should be put on the top of the pile again - so more people will see it. Because even a question that gets 20 stars will only be 'active' really for about 15 minutes - after that no one will see it really.... you what I mean ?

My 7 son year old son is just learning to swim. He will be in lessons this year. My mother just built a pool with a small section where he can barely touch, and the rest is very deep and very large. She watches my son every Friday while I'm at work. I know that my son and my 4 younger brothers and sister (12, 10, 9, 7, & 3 - adopted) will be swimming a lot.
Here's the problem - my mother is awful at watching children in the pool. She has a different view than I do on it. She walks away, sits down where she can't see them, puts a 10 year old in charge of watching 5 young children, etc. Now I'm in the situation that I have to not let my son go there on Fridays (which would hurt her feelings & make her mad), say that my son can't go swimming (which is impossible because there will be 5 other kids swimming) or ask my mom to watch him carefully (which she probably wouldn't do anyways & would be mad about).
What should I do?
