I give her 3,000 for the month, and she's fine with that. ;-)

We have been married for 15+ years under our situation have had to keep it together because we don't have extra money! We have a mortgage payment plus other household bills not a lot of leftover leisure money to have separate accounts for spending. It really depends on your situation. But in my opinion it is better to share as long as you are aware of each others spending habits. Good communication and budgeting goes along way!

my fiance and i have been together for almost 3 years. He works in the oil fields and makes lots of money, i'm going to college and work part time so he helps me with gas and food money and pays any bill i cant afford.

He says his money is my money and i'd say the same thing if i had any haha.

It'll all pay off when i graduate and then i can spoil him!

so i guess we kinds share money... he makes it, i manage it :)

We have a shared account for our house bills and seperate accounts for both of us. I like it that way. I have my money and he has no access to it. It worked our great for Christmas because I ordered his gifts online! He did know where I bought them because he couldn't look at the statement!

My boyfriend and I each have our own bank accounts, and split our rent/bills/groceries. I think spliting the costs and keeping our money seperate allows us to avoid financial argruements. That doesn't mean that everything is split down to the penny, but for the most part we try to keep it as far as possible, but we've been together for seven years, so it has worked for us

For now, we pretty much do what we want with our own money. He buys golf clubs, I buy clothes.
However, I'm a firm believer that when a couple gets married and are joined in a union, it is no longer just "his" or "her" money. It's "their" money. Not just one or the other's.

We share. It comes out even in the end.

We each have our seperate accounts for now. Once we are married, it is up for discussion whether we get a joint account.

I wouln't encourage a joint account unless you are a married couple. You never know what could happen.
