For the function that you have given, f(x ) = 2x + 2

so f(g(x)) = 2(3x - 1) + 2

f(g(x)) = 6x

The domain is all real x

From the set of points of f we can assume that F(x)=2x+2.
so F(G(x)) = 2(3x-1)+2 = 6x-2+2 = 6X
So the domain is all real numbers
or so I understand for math class years ago.

the domain of g(x) is all real numbers
the domain of f(x) is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4
So, the domain of f(g(x)) 0, 1, 2, 3, 4
