I found both French and Spanish easier. German still maintains case endings on almost everything.

German is a pretty easy language to learn, of course it will still take some effort. German is very close to English.
What is easy:
Many words are pretty much the same as english.
Hello = Hallo
She = Sie
What = Was
Auto = Car
Really easy stuff, and the list goes on.
There is one hard part though. There are three words for our english word "The". This can make things very confusing. The words are "Der", "Die", and "Das" and sometimes "Den". "Der" is Masculine, "Die" is Feminine, and "Das" is Neutral. This may sound easy but it gets confusing because the word for skirt has the "Der" for an ending which is masculine. And last time I checked, most men don't wear skirts.

German is like water.. -if you have the "drive" to learn it.
It's my second language; 4 years and still learning new words each day, it may seem difficult in the beginning especially as a first learned language other than the native tongue. But don't give up, it's definitely worth it. If you'd like some recommendations in starting let me know...
Keep it real, keep it German. ;-)

Most Dutch persons can comprehend German however the opposite isn't actual. I was once on vacations with Austrian peers in Holland and we took the coach and piece of cake they mentioned however inconceivable to comprehend the Dutch bulletins LOL Anyway, German has plenty of intricate grammar and Dutch could be very a lot simple so long as you're Dutch. The factor relatively is which language do you truthfully want? It is less complicated for a Dutch speaker to be trained German than for a German speaker to be trained Dutch.

It is easy! Many of the words are close to English. The tricky part is learning what nouns are masculine, feminine, and neuter (der, die, das)...we don't have that in English.
