My son is a smart little guy. I would not say he is not being challenged enough at school but he is not trying at all at school. And when he comes home I make him sit down and correct everything he has done wrong that day and he gets it right with out any help from me at all.(He gets so mad at me for this) I have tried taking things away, not letting him go outside with his friends, I even have constant communication with his teacher. How do I get him to put forth effort. He is just so laid back he act like he does not care.

my bf of 4 yrs(engaged 2) has a short fuse.He has never hit me but has smashed a few things when pissed at me.He likes to yell and sware(i never at him) when fighting with me.He does not call me names but he will say things like "I can't take this f-cking sh-t anymore find someone else" or "go to f-cking hell".Now he does not talk to anyone else like this just me.At the end of yelling with me he will always say to himself loud enough for me to hear"i need to get out of here" meaning move out.Why do i stay? Both my parents have died and i am only child i have no family.I moved out off state to be close to his family so i don't really have any close friends i just know a few people from work.I'm so sad all the time but if i leave him i will be alone and don't know if im just overreacting as i have no one to talk to about this.

i love dogs, but my girl friends evil little dog needs to go ASAP. as i am asking this question the little monster is tearing up my rug!! it craps all over the place, it barks every minute, humps my ankle when i'm not looking, it doesn't listen, it's mean towards everyone but my girl friend. can anyone tell me how i can convice my girl friend to put the dog down or give it away someone dumb enough to take it? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a 2 year old daughter and have raised her almost completely by myself with little help from her father. now that i am dating he is angry and wants to take her from me. reason being he thought we could get back together and is afraid someday ill make him pay child support and thinks that will go towards a man. he wants her half time or more, but already has a 10 year old he passes around to his family or whoever is able to care for her. he has had 12 jobs in last 2 years, just now got a place to live and call home, goes out all the time, never payed his bills on time, changes his daughters school yearsly to whichever is convenient,and doesnt take the raising my child right as serious as i do. he has more money than me and a better attorney and is getting just what he wants, like all i have to say doesnt matter! i want him to see her, but i want her primary residence to be with me so i can maintain a stable life for her. and yeah, i want child support too...what do i do?

In order to protect my own family, I stopped contact with my father, mother, and 2 sisters.
It started when one sister's teenage son was charged with over 10 counts of child molestation including penetration. My sister did not tell me. I got a tip. We had a family reunion planned with shared housing. I confronted her. She said that her son did not know that he what he had was wrong and I had ruined the vacation. I forgive her because she was in shock and denial. She continued to pressure me to get "the kids" together, even though her son was still involved with one of the victims, his younger brother, unsupervised, without therapy. When she told me that her sons did not know why I was keeping my daughter from them, I had to stop.
My father is a severe alcoholic. Last time I saw him he fondled my breasts. My mother is a mean drunk. My other sister has been a heroin addict for years and was in prison.
Why do I feel so bad about cutting off contact to protect my daughter?

and to clear somthing up the announcers during the game wasn't saying that they are the best big 3 ever

he was saying that the spurs big 3 are clearly dominating the best 3 players for the jazz this series
