It took about a decade to dig out from under the crushing deficits from Reagan and his feed the rich, eat the poor style of government.
Bush is twice as bad, then has added a black hole called Iraq to the mix.
Assuming we get out of Iraq by time the next president is in office, then it will take 12 years, at least. particularly since he has gone and politicized every portion of government which was supposed to be functionally non-partisan.
If we're still in his quagmire, then 15 to 20 years.
If a Republican is still in charge, then, judging by the great progress made in New Orleans under Republicans, never.

When are the majority of people going to wake up? It has nothing to do with Rep or Demo, it has to do with making a balanced and just society in USA and working together not partisan politics.
America will not be destroyed for without but from within if things continue on the path they are on. Why is it so difficult for both sides right and left to see that?

We will never recover from what Bush has done, all we can do is nationalize the Oil corps to pay for it, and that will happen.

Don't you mean 8 years of Bill Clinton. We are still paying for his mistakes, like letting Osama go and giving Red China our missile technology.

yes bush sure fixed that SURPLUS that Clinton left to US AMERICANS -
we will be in a stupid costly war in Iraq for a LONG time thank you very much- while we never caught ANYONE who commit America's biggest crime (911)
