Why do some (i repeat, SOME) religious people insist that they are trying to save the non believers soul?

Why do you care? If it was me, i would be like, you dont want to believe, then fine... more space for me in heaven then.

Wouldn't that be better?

first of, don't judge me 4 saying this, but it was an arrange marraige & i wuzn't ready 4 it. but soon i accepted everything & was so happy & even happier ven i had a daughter. but we never really had so much of a gr8 understanding. & yes due 2 arrange marraige, he is much older dan me & nothing of our interests r the same. I am a completely diff person as who he wants me to be. da things dat he likes r just not in my nature (i m extremely simple and don't know much about the world since i wud only be in my room all the time) although i do want 2 change myself but yet am so frustrated of how to be all the things i am not. (bold, outgoing, sensible, smart) etc. Although he is extremely cooperative & loving but recently we had an argument & i gave him "permision" 2 go find another girl who he likes...& he has started dis new class & the 1st day he told me dere r only 2 guys n de class...so now he shaves daily, dresses nice & is recently listening to romantic songs which he never did b4!

Hello to all........i am a employee of a X company and want to join Y company but my X company is not accepting my resignation as they have written on the appointment letter that if i resign before 3 yrs from joining i have to pay Rs.1 lakh.Now what i wanna know is that if i join the Y company without any re leaving letter from the X company can the X company file a legal complaint on me though there is no legal bond singed.

They've behaved so badly. All our children are suffering, his 4 and our 2. They've lied, cheated continuously behind all our backs, eg. they went on a $40k skiing trip together, 3 days in she called to say she'd made the mistake of her life. She came back, jumped straight into bed with me, "I'll never leave you again" said she left him in Europe over a week earlier. Then wife, sons and I went on a holiday together, happy sexy, fun!? When we returned her lovers wife sent me messages found on his phone my wife sent while we were away."In bed dreaming of Paris".."The stars are the limit of our universe". I confonted her, She justified it saying she had to let him go slowly because he might suicide. I then found out she slept with him only hours before she jumped into bed with me when she came home from her trip. One example of many very hurtful acts. What do I do? What makes people be so cruel. Is she sick? I want my life back. Do I move on or wait? Can I ever trust her? Been Betrayed!

I'm having a rectal exam later during the day as part of the annual physical exam for the employees. This will be my first time to undergo a sort of, "invasive and uncomfortable" exam since I'm only 23 and have not really indulged in any mature activity.

I'm horrified at the thought of somebody else looking at some part of my body. As a doctor, how can you assure that it is a normal procedure so I won't be ashamed of showing my body?

my insurance at my job does not cover me off the job..it happened at a retail store..i dont work there, my leg is so sore, and I have to go back to my job tommorow but Im limping ..do i nicely ask them to send me to a doctor or do i just go and send them the bill..the employee didnt even say excuse me.

I don't enjoy seeing my boyfriend eat pills for that and he doesn't seem to be getting well. He works 7 days a week at odd hours and obviously, the stress from work aggravates the problem.

Is there a permanent cure for this?

Every book has an author, but it takes many people to actually create a book. You need publishers, editors, distributers, plus people to make the paper, the ink, the cover, etc. A can of coke is also the product of many people. Someone had to mine the aluminum, someone had to design the logo, someone had to create the forumula, etc.

If it takes so many people to create something as simple as a book or a can of coke, it is inconceivable that something as big and complex as the universe could have been created by just one god. Thus, there must be multiple gods, right?

Or are arguments by analogy inherently flawed?

Im in a process of filing divorce papers, but my question is now that i live with my girlfriend of 4 years and our daughter; will this effect my divorce??? My wife and I have not lived together for the past 6 years or so and she cannot claim alimony(she makes more twice then what i make) or anything else. From the beginning of our marriage we kept our own individual things. We both have our seperate bank accounts,houses(luckily we never bought a house together),cars, no kids together,etc.. Basically it all comes down to it was the biggest mistake to marry her, so by me living with girlfriend will this effect my divorce?

I just had my roof done by a contractor. I had a guy from the company come in and gave me some quotes. One for $3530 (newer thicker) and $2930 (older stuff). He signed us up for the $3530 stuff and if I changed my mind I could call him back to change to the cheaper stuff. So, within a couple of days I called him and changed it to the cheaper stuff. I even asked him if I need to resign new paper work due to the different amount. He said I don't have to, he will take care of it. Well, now that the roof is done, I get the bill for $3530. I taked to him about it and he says he doesn't recall talking to me about it. What can I do? Thanks.
