if you are in a drought and then you get a hurrican will cause a lot more damage because the ground is so dry and hardened (almost like a ceramic plate) that it will not absorbe the water as fast as the ground that is soft and moist. hurrican is one of the worst storms to get during a drought because it is the heaviest rainstorm. (a dumptruck for water)
