A friend of mine worked as a stripper when she was young and needed the money. Stripping to the some "you can keep your hat on"

One day, in a bar with her husband, she met an ex-patron of the strip club. When she got home her husband gave her a hat and put on "you can keep your hat on" on the stereo.

Erotica exists for one reason, and that is for sexual stimulation. Stripping and pole dancing is like that.

It doens't exclude it as art and it can be a lot of fun, and help you get in touch with your erotic side (and go on to earn money). There are lots of artistic erotic dance shows.

If you are really looking to get in touch with your feminine side and body you might take up Belly Dancing (a better name is the muscle dance).

If you consider seduction an art then pole dancing is surely an art. That being said, it doesn't have to be art to be appealing. What's wrong with learning new ways to move and be sexy? I say go for it, if nothing else you gain a new skill.

Ok I dont do it anymore, but I use to be an exotic dancer and honestly the pole is a good work out for everypart of your body, I had developed increddible upper body stregnth from pulling myself up on the poll and my legs were very solid. Damn maybe I need to get a pole in my house and start using aging for the work out LOL. Honestly though its great excersise.

i dont see it as art, because in art not everybody can do it, like painting not everybody is a painter, and with music, not everybody can make it in the music business. but pole dancing anybody can learn it and be good at it, it just takes talent and motivation to excel. but you should try it to see if you like it.

yea. it's like yoga with ballet and stuff. people just don't see it as art anymore because of all the corruption in the mind and the fact that it's been used by women to get easy money as they say. but i think it's just like belly dancing, you know like in india, i wanted to try it to because it looks graceful and stuff but because of it being considered by some immoral because of the malicious thought and as i've said the corruption. i can't sigh...

No, it is a way for insecure women feel like they are important. Don't be trashy to impress men. Do Richard Simmons or something.
