Well in the days of old since there was a "gas shortage", the goverment institued a way of saving gas was actually having people go slowly thus preserving gas. In addition to safety reasons as well, since most crashes happen around 65 MPH and up. I am just interested in hearing peoples opinions on this, its for a project for my cousin.

he refuses to do anything he is told..and i mean ANYTHING. he gives the teachers at school nothing but problems by refusing to do his work and back talks. he has always been a little hard-headed but it has been unreal since they tried him on adderall. i took him off the meds but he still has the problems. he has also been having fits of rage where he will scream at the top of his lungs and claw at his eyes, throw things, swing and kick people. and all it takes to set him off is asking him to do simple tasks such as eat his dinner or get ready for school. i have tried time out (yea...did'nt work), i've tried taking things away..did not work either. i have tried all i know to do.. any advice?

I live on a large two acre property. we have a main house, a guest house, a tennis court and a ballroom on the premises and we don't have a designated backyard. We do have a lawn and a grass field. because we have wood floors and no one has time to potty train our dog (we got him when he was three and it's hard to train an old dog), we are forced to keep him locked up for hours every day while we go to school and work in a small 6' by 2' "pen." if anyone has any training tips or ideas and suggestions on how to install a fence somewhere on the property, please answer!

My husband and I are thinking of naming our baby Tahna. Pronouced like Donna, but with a T. What do people think about the spelling? Also I'm afraid that people will call her Tonya her whole life, instead of Tahna. What dose everyone think about it?

I really want to transfer to BYU from a local community college in Maryland. I've been living in the US for 2 years. am 18 years old and I am in my 3rd semester and my major is Biochemistry (not 100% sure yet, I have other considerations), I am an LDS convert (2 months) and very active i church, I am not attending institute but I'll try my best to do it, what happens is that it is far from home and I don't drive. My GPA by now is 1.00 (by the time, I have only taken 2 credit classes and I am enrolled in 3 more this semester, the other classes have been like preparation clases because english is my 2nd language), i know, my GPA is too low but at the end of this semester it could increase to 2.00 or maybe higher. I am going to take summer classes and the fall semester at my community college, so the GPA could increase. I am planning to transfer for the Winter 2008. I am working harder in school because it is my priority right now to transfer there. Help please!!! what are my chances?

I am directing this question towards a more rationalist crowd, and am not concerned with emotivism at this present time. From what I have read from those advocating emotions to be 'logical' and 'rational' and am severely bored with their works (I.e. Robert Solomon). I want an good philosophical work on the emotions and how they are viewed by the reasonable mind. I realize this debate has become redundant, but I am not downplaying the emotions--I am just a realist in philosophy looking for a book on the emotions and how someone who believes they should be submissive to rationality can understand them better--enough to be able to think and write about them more. Any suggestions on a book to begin with?

I was told the rear brakes have to be disconnected from power source before working on them. Was told they are under high pressure and if did not use the correct scan tool or disconnect power it was highly likely they might explode due to the high pressure they are under.

Since I don't have any diagnostic or scan tools can I just disconnect the battery? ANd, were is the battery located?

Thank you
