OK... do NOT focus on the 3000 people. You are getting hung up on the number. If you can speak and preform in front of a few you can do it with more. Find some familiar faces in the audience and forget those others are even there. You will do great!!!!!

There are lots of mental exercises but some people (like me) just can't seem to get over the shakes ever completely.

if you had more time I would suggest talking to your doctor about beta blockers (inhibitors) I have no idea how they work only that they are great and can help get rid of physical signs of stage fright (shaking, tremoring, wobbly knees)

A cheaper/easier solution that has worked for me now for several years, is to take a shot or 2 of your favorite alcohol (provided you are 21) I go with vodka.

a shot or 2 (if you're bigger) loosens me up and makes me relax and calm a bit without actually getting you drunk and thus affect your ability to perform technically difficult works.

Don't doubt yourself. You already know how good you are. Don't think about the numbers who are going to be watching, just think about your performance and practise it until you're blue in the face. Try some visualisations or meditation techniques to help you with your nerves.

I remember one of my ex colleague tell me that when you do presentation, performance on the stage, the main focus is to look far and you will feel calm. Once you feel calm, you can do your best. All the best to you for your performance

Most people have no singing talent whatseoever. most of the people in that crowd would die to be you for the 5 minutes you're up there, so keep that in mind... you'll do great.
