Yes, in a metaphorical sense, we all do.
I often equate worry to spinning around and around chasing your own tail. Worry causes us to go round and round over the same problem getting us nowhere. We accomplish very little when we worry and we end up feeling dizzy with the problem still attached to our butts, because there is really no way to eliminate problems. Therefore, the chase is futile.
We also chase our own tails when we beat ourselves up for mistakes we made. Again, we can easily think and re-think our own decisions and mistakes to merely chase ourselves around in a meaningless circle. Whereas, if we simply let mistakes be, learn from them, and move on, we wiill realize that everyone has a "tail" of mistakes that, even if caught, is not worth chasing.

If she doesn't do that 24/7 and you take her to the vet, I'd advise you to film it tonight to show to the vet tomorrow. If you have a video then they can see what she's doing and give you their best guesstimation.
