I own a house and have since I was 18? I suppose I look older then I am. But when I tell people I own a house and i'm 20, they give me a snotty attitude. I moved into my first apartment when I was 18, then my dad told me I should own instead of buy, so at 18 1/2, he put a down payment down & I got a 2 bed condo. My family (of pets) grew large. So I decided I needed to be in a house. So me and my boyfriend together bought a 3 bedroom/2 bath house (a REALLY nice house) for a very low price of $245k (cheap for this area). My dad bought my condo from me- gave me $20k for the down payment. Basically, when people find out or I tell them i'm 20 and own a house they totally assume I'm a spoiled brat and give me attitude. My dad helped me out yea.... but he doesn't pay the bills and morgage every month. He doesn't care for my 7 ferrets, 4 dogs, fish tank, pond, 2 anoles, 2 toads, 1 conure parrot and Cat. I do all that obviously. Are they jealous?

i took my car to a shop and they wanted to convert it from r12 to r134 and they said i could go buy some adapter for 40 bucks and just throw a can or two of freon in it and it will be fine, a real shop quoted me over a thousand dollars to retro-fit it but id rather have it done for 10-40 bucks what do u think

I was just curious if anyone went to there 36th week appt and found out they were dilated? and if so how long after did u give birth?

ps. not trying to rush my pregnacy by any means i actually hope im not dilated i wanna make it to my due date or a little closer anyways...

Okay, they say when we look out into the universe, we are studying history, because it takes the light from those stars thousands of years to reach us. So what we see is from thousands of years ago. If that is true, then couldn't we take a camera traveling faster than the speed of light(I know, considered impossible...so far) and push it away from the earth, but facing earth, and we would see the earth traveling back in time? Wouldn't that solve the problem of where the world came from. Of course you have to set aside petty things like can it zoom, how big is it, nothing can travel that fast. Assuming all those things were possible, wouldn't that be amazing? I believe it will happen one day. What do you think?

They sit at this spot every day of every summer - all day and all night long. They include homeless and other 'travelers' - it's the center of downtown - they are mostly college aged kids who have no reason not to get a job.

By exact value, I believe the answer should have pi in it, not multiplied out with just 3.14, if that makes sense...

my grown son never calls me or writes to me. i call him & send him cards but he hangs up. i email him & i never get a reply. now another mothers day will go by & we cant even spend it together.. his dad still tells him what to do.. he got married 3yrs ago & i wasnt invited but his dad was..his dad whom i divorced 6 yrs ago because he was abusive towards me & my daughter & son. my son while living with us saw how i was being abused but only crossed his hands & said nothing.. i decided to get out of that relationship. i got so tired of being his punching bag. my daughter always got hit too while growing up...he wouldn't let her have her friends over. i'd yell at him to stop it & tell him i would leave him...he would laugh &said i would be really stupid to leave him.. he made my son almost commit suicide . my son took antibodics from a cold that he had from before because my ex husband wouldnt let him go on a trip along with his friends. maybe son wants to be like dad

My son is 8 years old. We moved to a new town last summer right before school started. He has made few friends as he has been shunned and excluded from kids at his school. He was put in a split-class which was a big mistake (grade 3&4). He is also a late birthday in the year. He has tried to make friends but only has a couple. He has not been invited to any birthday parties. He is very depressed. He tries to join group games at school, and the kids his own age say no. I have talked with the principle who has offered no help. Does anyone have any suggestions. I am ready to pull him from school. He has even quit eating lunch at school. He doesn't want to go and his grades are suffering for it.

The audio system I plan on putting into my car is worth more than my car itself. My engine is also slightly supped up (previous owner) and I plan on fixing up the engine even more, making into more of a race/show car than anything. I'm looking into a good way to secure this. I don't want an alarm system because seriously, when I hear car alarms, all it does is annoy me and I think if someone was gonna take my car or the goods, they wouldn't care. At the end of summer I am also moving to a much larger city where the crime rate is higher and this kind of bugs me. I'm looking for a good way to secure my car and audio system. Price isn't an object, to protect this stuff anything's worth it. Any ideas or anyone have anything they've done that works well?
By the way, it's for a '96 Chevy Cavalier

I am not physically fit however I am incredibly smart but I have screw up in high school trying to fit in with the wrong crowd so that dosent really matter I guess because colleges have no other way of telling beside my GPA, which is messed up obviously. I have live an incredibly decent glamorous child hood. I have everything a child needs at home so I dont usually go out an interact with other kids. I stay at home 24/7; I havent been to the park in my neighboorhod to play ball in like a year plus. I am not expose to things that go on in the daily world so I am worry when I grow older and have to live on my own. My impression of the world is "bunch of nice people" and thats obv wrong because sometimes I watch the TV show cops and I cant beleive some of the things I see. I dont really see how I can do anything. I am not physically fit plus I am very unaware and the brain God blessed me with, I have misused it. I am afraid.
