Is this a good radar detector? And is it best in its price range which is about 150. Thanks

Hello,
I can tell you that you be better off keeping your money. Most departments are going to laser(pin point accuracy&by the time your detector goes off it's too late if it can detect laser),and radar that they use is only on for a few seconds they dont leave it on. Hope this helps

That's what I have. It does a good job, but I reall wanted a Valentine One. That is the one to have. It will show you the number of radars it is picking up and the direction that they are coming from. With mine if there are two radars, all it will do is buzz and light up. The Valentine will show you that there are 2 radars and one may be in front of you and one may be behind you. Look at it, before you buy. good luck
