There have been a very, fery few, but the problem is that the majority of hitters are right-handed, and a southpaw catcher wouldn't be able to throw around those hitters.

Joe Mauer throws right and bats left. And there is no record of a John Clement ever in MLB.

Currently no there is not any left handed catchers the last one was Benny Distefano.He caught 3 games for Pittsburgh back in 1989.

Benny DiStefano caught a few innings back in 1989. I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a lefty backstop in MLB since then, and he did it as an emergency fill-in.
