I just got a new goldfish today and i was wondering if it is ok to keep it in a container that is 8in tall where the widest point is about 16in around and the narroist point(in the middle) is 10in around and there is an aquatic plant that is about 7in tall, but there are only a few thin leaves. also do i need a filter?

let's say my sister, who is an american citizen, petitions me for a greeen card and the petition is accepted. Then I would have to wait for a couple of years for a visa number to get the green card. IF I'M INSIDE THE COUNTRY WHEN SHE petitions me and the petition is accepted, can I wait inside the country and get employment authorization and work even though I have to wait to get a visa number and get the green card??

I am having trouble in my Algebra class, and have a final tommorow, can someone please help explain these problems to me?

1. The length of a rectangle is 2ft longer than the width. If the area is 16ft^2, then what are the length and width?

2. A new computer can process a company's monthly payroll in 1 hour less time than the old computer. To really save time, the manager used both computers and finished the payroll in 3 hours. How long would it take the new computer to do the payroll by itself?

3. The height in feet for a ball thrown upward at 48 feet per second is given s(t) = -16t^2 + 48t, where t is the time in seconds after the ball is tossed. What is the maximum height that the ball will reach?

So let's say that along with me (And the whole gay community), all non-Christians, and you wicked, wicked Atheists DID go to hell after we die, and we were given a choice of the people (or foods) you wanna burn with , what would you choose? For me I would like to be tortured & spending eternity with all hot, non-Christian, gay celebs and athletes, I mean an eye candy eases the hotness of that lake of fire.

If your married, and your Husband is always home, but never wants sex, does that mean your to old? im 38 and he is 41. if i want to have sex he acts like im doing something wrong! Does this mean he don't love me anymore? or is he just comfortable with our marrige? Because he tells me that he still loves me. And we don't have to have sex all the time. But the thing is, we hardley ever do. just once in a while( once every month or two) Only when he wants it. if he wants it and i would say no, he gets mad! But he turnes me down every time. I go to college and have already serviced half the cheer leading team. But because i am doing a speciality course i have all my classes with the same peeps. i have made some really great cool friends but there is this one girl who is a heifer and one day i sat next to her and talked to her absent mindedly and now she is totally in love with me. She thinks we are best friends and always sits next to me and always shouts to me from across the room. I try to avoid her sometimes because she is so full on and i kinda think that is her own fault. But then i guess she doesnt have many friends and so she is trying to latch onto me and not let go. What should I do? Shut her down real hard so she drops out and goes to work in sanitation or just ignore her? I dont mind taling to her sometimes its just that i dont want to be best friends with her like she thinks we are
