Oh, for heaven's sake. . .don't you know ANYTHING about the care and feeding of elephants?
They're only supposed to eat living room sofas with an occasional end table as a special treat. Too many table scraps, and the poor thing will develop splinterosis of the keisteritum.
And THEN you'll be up Shat Creek without a paddle, my friend. Literally.

It won't hurt him, you, however may need a gas-mask to emty the litter box. :)
