I think the number of murders in Philly is now more than
there are days, since Jan 1, 2007. Most of the people who
committed these murders are still walking around free.
What does this say for our society?
Paris Hilton could have been made to wear an ankle bracelet,
or something else, say community service before it came
to incarceration.
I think this verifies the term "prison planet". Who knows
who the next "easy target" will be.
Shame

COMPLETELY!!! Paris Hilton is a spoiled brat & I think she deserves EVERYTHING that is sentenced to her. She lives like she is above the law jsut because of who her parents are & this isnt fair! Just because you have money in NO way means you should be able to buy your way out of trouble that you caused or crimes YOU committed!!! DO THE CRIME DO THE TIME!!!!!

As far as I'm concerned, she should serve at least 24 months (two years). No way is 45 days long enough for a repeat offender.
Plus, she knew she was guilty. She thinks because she's filthy rich and famous, that she can get away with anything.

No, perhaps 10% of fair. Yeah, 18 months should be about right.
The trouble is some people are simply not held accountable. Some celebrities have literally gotten away with murder.

Yes, I do. She is one of those Hollywood sorts who feels "special" and "entitled." She doesn't think the laws apply to her and this was not her first offense, you know. I am betting her lawyers get her out of it, but she really should go to jail for a few days to learn a lesson. A fine is not a punishment since she is so wealthy.

It's a good thing that someone's celebrity status doesn't place them above the law. If someone is guilty of breaking the law, then they need to face the consequences. So, don't do the crime if you can't do the time....

I don't think I even really care, but I must say maybe she wont drink then drive, maybe she'll pay more attention to her own affairs like knowing if her license is good or not and not speeding.
