There is no problem. I've never met you, so I didn't know if you knew who I was. What do you know about me?

http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Polaroid-15-LCD-HDTV-Monitor-FLM-1514B/sem/rpsm/oid/159405/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do#tabs

It's a Polaroid 15" LCD HDTV Monitor (FLM-1514B). What's confusing me is:

In specs on the Circuit City Website, it says the resolution is 720p (1024 x 768)

BUT on the " Highlights" page, it says this:

Compatibility: This TV has a resolution of 1024 x 768, and it's compatible with 1080i/720p/480p/480i digital programming.

I heard somewhere that my television only supports up to 720p, BUT I also heard that all HDTVs must support 1080i in the U.S.

And I heard that a resolution of "1024 x 768" supports 1080i, but I heard somewhere else that a television that supports 1080i has twice that (not 1080p).

So I want to know once and for all...does my television support 1080i.

I am purchasing a Playstation 3 soon, and I am also wondering if it'll have downscaling problems with my television. Also, what resolution to in the XMB menu, when I buy my PS3?

I'm not asking for yes or no answers, I am asking that people read the quote below, and let me know if (and how) it speaks to you.

"A human being is part of a whole, called by us the 'Universe,' a part limited in time and space. He exeriences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassioon to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.

What would motivate the government, or a corporation's board of directors, to lie about their actual goings on?

What motivates these people to lie, like they do?
Is it the thirst for power? Money? Both?

Why do they lie?
Why avoid the truth?

Would the truth jeopardize a power-grab? Would it cut into profits?

Im 13. I have to sort this out once and for all. I have been having my period for almost 6 weeks. I have been felling light headed sometimes and very emotional and sensative. I live in spain with my mum and my dad lives in UK I go to visit him every 2 months. I have HIV and I go to the doctor while Im there to have a check up. When I went there last time (in March) my period was going for 4 weeks and I was worried so I told the doctor, she called the expert on periods and they said I was fine. Then in 2 days I came back to spain and it was still going to this moment. We told the doctor that we are gonna be moving to spain and they said they could not attend to me and would have to find a doctor in spain. I had read up loads of articles about spanish HIV doctors and they arn't very good so we told the doctor that mum has got a job both in england and spain so we have to fly back and forth and we need a doctor in both countrys so they are still trying to find the best doctor.

Hello,

I am with my boyfriend for 5 years(living with him for 4 years). We had our ups and downs and sometimes I've asked myself if I was with the "right one", but I've always took the decision to stay with him.
My boyfriend, is caring, honest, mature, we have a great relationship, we communicate, respect and love each other.
He popped the question in december and I said yes, without hesitation.
But, now that the wedding is coming , I'm totally freaking out!! I am questionning myself every day, I look at other guys, I'm even dreaming about my ex-boyfriends!! I so want to take the right decision! Is it normal?

If you dont believe in heaven or hell, whats after death? You have nothing to belive in or no hope. How did we come in to existence? Not from monkeys, there ae still monkeys here. Im just aking for your opinions. It seems kind of depressing.

My daughter is invited to a birthday party for twins (a boy and girl). The girl is in her class but the boy is in another class. The classes do certain activities together (lunch, gym) so my daugher does know the boy. Since both classes are invited to the birthday party, should she take a gift only for the girl in her class since the boy's classmates will be bringing him gifts? Otherwise each child will receive 24 gifts due to the number of kids attending.

I cut back from caffeine for the past month now, and before I got my period, my breasts were really sore and were really itchy. I just got off my period last week, and my boobs are still sore and still itch, but not as much. It seems to me as if they got a bit bigger, because my bras are a bit tight. Is this all normal or should I be worried about it being something else, or are my boobs just growing. By the way I'm 21 weigh 110lbs. and am also using birth control. I started my period on the 14 and was supposed to be off by the 18 then I noticed some brown discharge, what can that be. It wasn't much, but still. I would really appreciate all the answers I get.

I have a 1987 Honda Accord (134,000 miles, automatic transmission, good condition) that needs a timing belt replacement.
My mechanic says its gonna cost me anywhere between $300 to $400. He has advised me not to spend that much since its such an old car. He is telling me to give it to the junkyard instead.
Is that the standard cost for this kind of job. How can I get to spend less? Any suggestions?
