Why is it that it is when I am sleeping that I worry the most?

When I somewhat asleep, unconscious, that is when I worry. Worry to the point that it makes my stomach churn. The feeling that you did something wrong and that your life is over. I think that when I get these intense feelings, I am in a dream-like state.

I don't want in any way to belittle the loss of the families of the VT students and professors killed by Cho. But CNN and Today and all the news shows can't do enough interviews with the families of these kids, while the kids the same age being killed in Iraq are mere footnotes.

And Iraq was avoidable.

what do you like in a girl? i mean... i have a bunch of boyfriends lately but they usually only use me. One told me that the only reason he dated me was cause he heard i was a whore. another said the only reason i dated you was cause u were hot. and idk whats so wrong with my personality! I mean, I'm nice to people and iwould not be mean to anyone. I do alot of sports, and love boats. I wear makeup but just light makeup and im not afraid of jellyfish or anything because im always around them. Im not much of a girly girl but im not a manly girl. Is it so wrong that I don't scream when I see fish and stuff? Could it be something else? I love video games and to run and get dirty. But i love showers and spa days too. What is wrong with my personality? I only dump guys based on their personalitys! Am i conceided or something? How can I find out whats wrong with my personality? Maybe im not original enough?

I'm a lesbian, and I know that my family definitely will not accept it, and if they do it would only be to my face. So I don't want them to know, but everyone else can.

Do a lot of people do this, or do a lot of them eventually end up coming out to family even if they didn't think they would? What do you do about the whole marriage age?

Somebody at work has been stealing my lunch from the break room. I've thought about liberally applying some Visine to my next meal, so when I see somebody running frantically for the bathroom, I'll know who the thief is.

I have a lots of big files on my laptop that i want to transfer to my pc. I think it would be more convenient to do so if my two computers are connected - and i don't have to buy blank DVD's.

I don't have those cable thingies used for LAN (or something), I only have firewire. My pc can connect through 1394, so does my laptop, but I don't know how.

Could you guys spare a few simple instructions on how to connect two computers using 1394?

I haven't had a period in 10 months old. I have PCOS, Endimetriosis and Fibroids on my uterus. I've seen my doctor numerous times and he has no idea what is going on with me. He put me on Provera to get me flowing and then to start the birth control pill to regulate me. I never started my period with these medications. I know I'm not pregnant. I had my tubes tied 3 years ago after my 3rd child. And we've done pregnacy tests. Any ideas what is going on or what my next step should be? Thanks

I've recently (within the past six months or so) begun my spiritual search and think that I might be gearing towards recommitting myself to the Christian faith. Before I do so, I have a few conflicts and questions I need to resolve. What books, besides the Bible, would you recommend? I loved Mere Christianity and am in the middle of The Case for Christ right now. Thanks for your input.

You gotta admit, they have guts for blatantly lying, and then hypocritically and magically declaring a lack of enemy evidence even when they haven't produced a shred.

The only way to deny evolution is basically to deny the scientific process, and therefore you are denying reality itself. So I suppose a few more lies doesn't phase the creationists.


Although those guts are borrowed from a dogmatic belief in God. Your thoughts?

I can't help but wonder why this is in the news again but on Yahoo we have yet another story that says lethal injection is cruel and unusual form of execution,as if the killers were humane. In order to avoid the question of whether a certain mode of execution is unconstitutional should we just return to the methods used by the people who wrote the Constitution,namely hanging and firing squad? This way we know it would not be considered cruel and unusual,since it was in fact used by the men who wrote those words in the first place.
