Somebody at work has been stealing my lunch from the break room. I've thought about liberally applying some Visine to my next meal, so when I see somebody running frantically for the bathroom, I'll know who the thief is.

Also, do you think I could claim I was using laxatives with my lunch for weight-loss if I get caught?

yes. you can be fired, and the person who *stole* your lunch can file charges against you...i know, ironic isnt it? however, i like your idea...i think it will work if you just adapt it to make it legal...

...a nice big dose of cayenne pepper, perhaps? or the liquid from a jabenero pepper! how about putting blue koolaid mix between a couple meats of your sandwich? chances are, the theif will be in such a hurry to snarf down your meal without being noticed, they he/she wont notice the koolaidmix, until it is too late...as a bonus, the sandwich will be nasty :) take note of anyone walking around with *blue mouth* ;)

Hey, that's very clever. I would do it. Why are you worrying about getting caught? This person is eating YOUR lunch? Something they have no business doing. Let me know how it turns out. E-mail me. I need a good laugh. Don't use Visine, they may have an allergic reaction. Use Ex-Lax instead.

Visine? I always thought that was an eye medication?

No, you can't use laxitives in your lunch! That's just sick!

Can't you and your co workers get little lockers or something to lock your lunch up into? Talk to your boss about the problem.

It's one of those ideas that sounds real funny in theory, but as Simple said, in real life it's psycho.

Also, it would be hard for you to make your diet claim, since you've publicly admitted that you're going for revenge.

I'm not saying you should tolerate workplace thieves, but there has to be a better way to handle it. Talk to your manager first. They're the ones who should take care of problems like this.

I would not use Visine. It could cause serious harm to the person you are using it on.

If anything, use laxatives. NOT VISINE!

Had a friend with the same problem. He used exlax in brownies. No more food thieves after that.

No you shouldn't be fired. It's an awesome plan. Do it! They deserve it for stealing your lunch. They'll be so embarrased at the effects that they won't bring it up.

Dude, what if they person has a terrible reaction, and dies?

Are you PSYCHO.

At least someone eats your food. They could be really really hungry.

For the people that answered that they did this: Think about it would you want this to happen to your kid if he got hungry and at someone's lunch and he ends up in the Emergency Room?

Foolish, foolish.

If they wasn't stealing it in the first place they wouldn't be affected by it. By complaining they will be admitting they stole your food. The same thing happened to Me and I used exlax in brownies. I knew the next day who the ****** was that was stealing my food.He quit takeing other peoples food after that.
