By "research on" do you mean for you to do research for a paper or homework?
If so, then Jupiter is the largest planet in our system, has a huge satellite system (with 4 moons the same or larger than our own moon), a complex magnetic field, dynamic atmosphere, and so on.
You might check out nasa.gov, the Pluto mission New Horizons just flew by Jupiter about a month ago and gathered all kinds of new data about that system.

But personally I would choose Saturn - I think its the most beautiful planet as its the only one with a complex ring system visible from earth, it has more moons than even Jupiter, and I just think all that is interesting.

Well, I believe Europa will have aquatic life. Also Jupiter is the only planet that produce more heat than it absorb from the sun and would most likely become the next in line to become a star! I try to get you some links.
Pop-ups were blocked for me; http://www.solarviews.com/eng/europa.htm

i think earth would be the best planet to research about, considering the fact that you're probably living on it.
