I got -24n^4 - 17 but they said that was wrong.

If there really is heaven, and we indeed survive our death, why is it that we are all sad at the bedside of the dying? Why is it that we morn their loss, and why is it that we will not allow euthanasia to someone who is suffering so badly, so that they can go on and live pain free in glory? Is it that in the final analysis, we are none of us really sure? Why are be bemoaning death,if we never really die?

When the smoking ban starts in England on 2nd July I know that it will be illegal to smoke in public places, bars, resturants etc... Does that apply to open places like theme parks, bus stops and even walking down the street.

Here in Wales it started on 2nd April, even though I'm a non-smoker I'm confused about it.

texting her, calling her, talking about how great a girl she is, all of sudden drops of your list of priorities. You stop calling her. Wont really return her calls. What happens? There was no specific event that happened, no bad drunk night, cuz the partying is always fun. no bad conversations, cuz we're never at a loss for words with each other, 3-4 hour conversations about everything...Is there a switch that goes off in your head that's like "just kidding, never mind, moving on" Thanks for your help...

I'm not saying every teenager should run out and get pregnant, because it IS hard. No doubt about that.

But for someone to say "they could have done so much more with their life" is completely false. I can't think of anything I could have ever done more rewarding than loving these 2 little girls.

Do you think that intelligent, rational people can self-diagnose?
Have you ever done it?

I feel like doctors all bring their own baggage to the table (especially therapists and psychologists) and that sometimes this gets in the way of correctly diagnosing a condition.

Ever have any experience like this???

you and your girlfriend had an altercation which she was hitting slapping you and you grab her neck and wrists to get her to stop. then you leave and she calls the cops. you now have charges pressed against you (there is nothing she can do b/c it's up to the state). you have to go to jail and spend over $4000 on lawyers and bond. your gf is trying everything she can do to get the charges dropped, but there is no guarantee. you have a chance of getting kicked out of the military and failing your classes this semester b/c of this.

would you consider taking her back after this is all said and done? or would you consider the relationship to be over?

My bro in law and his girlfriend are planning a trip. She has a 2 yr old daughter. She not planning on taking her with them. They will be gone a week. She once said when she turns 1 she could go on trips without her. I know its her choice but I could never do that to my children. We went on a ski trip a few months back and they went with us, we took our kids, she left hers, we were gone for 6 days. We had just as much fun with them as we could've without. I think 1 or 2 days would be okay but a week? The girlfriend is 20 yrs old and wants to party so she chooses to leave the lil one behind so she can. I was just wondering, on average, how young is too young to go on a trip without? She leaves her all the time to do things she wants and I know a break is much needed now and then, but when is it too much? I know its her choice so please don't lecture me on the none of my business, I know that already its just strange to me and could never leave my 2 yr old and 9 mo old behind that long.

just got a seagate external hd. it hooked up and recognized fine, but now whenever i reboot or power cycle, there's a problem loading the os. it won't boot till i turn off the external hd, reboot, and then turn it back on once it's booted xp. i want to be able to just have the external hd on all the time and re boot my computer at will.

btw, im running xp pro on a year old hp office computer.

My fiance and I have been together for awhile and we have a 10 month old first of all. A few weeks ago it would have been his mother's birthday and he told me he was going to visit her grave and he said he would try to be home soon, I said he could take his time if he wanted. He came home an hour and a half later (he went to a town about 20 minutes away, not even). I said nothing because I knew he was close to her. Later that night he said he had gone to the bar and I still said nothing because I thought nothing of it (its a stressful and sad day for him). He also said he went to meet with a female co-worker, which I really didn't like and all I said to him was it makes me uncomfortable. He blew up and started yelling that I don't want him to hang out with any female friends, etc, etc. Well, this female friend in particular works 12 hour days with him and she is one of the 3 people he never shuts up about and she is also the only person he never complains about. Who went out of line?
