I'm not saying every teenager should run out and get pregnant, because it IS hard. No doubt about that.

But for someone to say "they could have done so much more with their life" is completely false. I can't think of anything I could have ever done more rewarding than loving these 2 little girls.

I can't think of anything.

I respect those who choose not to have children, but if you're going to be one, be a good one, dammit.

While of course you should be very proud of your kids, and being a parent, that just means that that is the most honorable thing *you* could do. Some young guy gives his life during the war to save his friends, or civilians, whatever - he can't have kids, but what he did was a very honorable thing to do. It depends on the situation, some people have kids for the wrong reasons, to get on benefits etc, that's quite the opposite of what you're talking about.

Congratulations on your two daughters though =0D

Definitely an honorable thing but there are other equally honorable things one can do. Raising funds to help research to find cures for diseases.. working with the elderly who are sometimes neglected by their own families. Caring for unwanted animals that have been abused. Finding homes for those children who's parents don't take their responsibilities seriously as you do. Serving your country in the armed forces. Working to help clean our oceans & restore forests and heal the earth that takes so much abuse from us humans. After all, with no planet to live on we're all S.O.L!

no there isn't dear, as the old saying goes "how do you payback your parents, you don't you pay your kids" and you can never love them too much, people that say a teenage pregnancy ruins or destroys a life are really putting the young woman down, it is a problem and can be an obstacle but life is far from over, god bless you ♥

Well yes and no. I also have two little girls and I could not imagine my life with out them. They are truly a blessing. However, I do wish I could have done more with my life. Once again I love my children but I do wish I would have waited until after college to have them. I just hope and pray they do not follow mommy and have kids so young. I hope they LISTEN and wait until after they have there degrees. But what kids really LISTEN lol.

Parenting is certainly rewarding, but I do believe there are other honorable and rewarding things to be done in this world. Because I can't have children, I decided to dedicate myself to public service. I am also in the Army Reserves, because I believe serving one's country is an honorable thing.

I don't think a person needs to be a parent to be "complete" but I will say having my son was the best thing to have ever happened to me. it is more incredible that I could have ever imagined.

BUT....to each his own.

I'm with you on that. I think it's way hard to have a child before you've established a life for yourself, but what you have is something more valuable than money can buy.

Nope. If one has kids, it's the most important thing to raise happy, healthy and productive people to do good in this world.

It is honorable and it's a shame other parents don't take it as seriously as you. Our country would be in a different spot if some parents had!
